Why can't I connect my wealth simple wallet to Koinly? It doesn't show up as an integration, am I missing something?

Nenad, how do I import my wealthsimple crypto transactions to Koinly? Using TurboTax to file my taxes.

When I tried to import crypto tax information from Koinly, it created a new portfolio in Koinly. I can not connect Wealthsimple with my original Koinly portfolio, nor can I remove the new one. Any subsequent attempts to import always results in the Wealthsimple-Koinly integration pointing at the new portfolio. This happens regardless of cookies, browser, and device.

Due to the frequency of my trades, it's my understanding that all of my crypto trading will be considered 'Business Income' here in Canada. Does this mean the amount listed as Capital gains in the Koinly report should be filed as Business Income in the T2125 Business Income/T1 Income forms, instead of being filed as Capital Gains on a Schedule 3?

im confused why i cant enter net loss on any of these forms. even the manual capital gains forms. the second i enter a negative amount everything defaults to zero. whats going on?

Do you have to purchase a Koinly plan in order to use the API to connect to Wealthsimple? I signed up for a Koinly account in order to connect to Wealthsimple, agreed to the terms ect. but it will not connect.

Hi, because there has been no response from Koinly to the request of several users to integrate Quantfury into the exchanges in Koinly?, it does not allow me and there are several users who have requested this in the official Koinly forum since 2020. It seems to me that Koinly's customer service is bad since I asked the same question on the platform's chat and no one has given me an answer yet.

Hi! It says that you can import your gains AND losses but I don't see the "Losses" coming across into wealth simple anywhere. Where are losses being reported?

Hello Nelly, question for you concerning connecting BINANCE to Koinly. I was able to connect BINANCE by utilizing the API keys, although I’m not seeing the majority of my transactions. I realize the API doesn’t allow access of : fiat, mining & Bswaps, which I haven’t done.

To simplify;
I ended up deleting the BINANCE wallet from Koinly & uploaded the excel file which worked & now I see all my transactions ( I think…).

My main question is:
Does KOINLY allow a user to connect the API keys & also upload the CSV or excel file - to combine both ? , or is this not recommended?

Or would I maybe click on “Troubleshoot” & delete the “existing transactions” after connecting the API & before uploading the CSV or excel file ?

Hopefully my inquiry isn’t confusing 😬. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 👍

Can you clarify how to add in transactions from Wealthsimple Crypto into Koinly for determining your Koinly report? I am receiving abnormally large capital losses in excess of $100k when I should be in the green by a few thousand. I added a manual wallet following the instructions on your website for a csv file but it still gives me wrong results. I submitted a ticket as well but it has been over a week. Is adding a video on Wealthsimple Crypto or adding them as a wallet on the website in the cards throughout the next few weeks?
