Anyone know if Samuel L Jackson gave Quentin an n-word pass for this scene? Just seems odd that he's saying it so many times without repercussions here but maybe he was given a pass, idk

Watching the movie for the first time in years. Hooked until this scene. The QT fanboys on their knees about Jimmy as though he was this unshaken badass when he was written to be this way; Tarantino delivers the lines like an out of touch virgin in a COD lobby reflecting on being a latent school sh**ter.

Every f-bomb thrown by Tarantino in this scene is thrown with such roughness and rage, it definitely makes the severity of the situation much more believable imo.

I heard Denzel Washington confronted Tarantino at an event and asked him why he says and uses the n word so excessively in his films and they said Tarantino was real quiet and really didn't say anything back to Denzel

I can’t believe this film will be 30 next year. I remember seeing it in the theater with my exwife, thinking to myself, “Damn. This is an awesome movie”.

It also makes you reflect on life back in the 90s. Now days, you’d just drive to a secluded spot, pull out your cellphone, and make a call. No need to bother Jimmy.

LOL at a bunch of what are most definitely white guys acting like using the n word in this scene is deep. It's not at all. You guys are just happy to hear someone non black say the n word. Quentin just wanted to say it so bad for some reason. Its not even a historical context film. Why couldnt he have just said guy?
