I was able to fix my 100% CPU usage after Step 2, deleting the tmp files and changing my virtual memory.

In my device manager for IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers i have 2 listing 1.) AMD SATA Controller 2.) Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller. i don't remember it being this way before reinstalling window 10 install. is it okay and i don't have to do the register change and id so which one would i use? i do have a SSHD hard drive is this what makes it dual channel?

my pc had just bluescreened because of the incompatible sata raid driver, but there's no sata operation option in hp's bios. please help, i had this same problem for 3 years and i had to reinstall windows several times :((

Can you do a video on this: My Windows 10 hangs and TaskManager sorted by CPU Usage shows "System Interrupts" using 99 or 100% and it can not be selected and EndTask. Is there any way to disable or limit the priority or CPU usage of System Interrupts? Once it'sise drops to 0% the computer is back to normal (32G RAM, 6 core 5.2GHz Intel CPU gaming PC)

I am using Intel Raid mother board to combine two 1tb drives in to one 2tb drives. This used to be a windows 7 industrial mother board. Are you saying there isn’t windows 10 drivers for this Intel raid chip set?

Windows has to be one of the silliest operating systems ever made. Imagine byung it, and then it doesn't work. You have to jump through hoops to make it work. And then you probably have to reinstall it and be happy about all the money you paid for it. Why?

Disabling Windows Search will also mess up Office products as with Outlook for example, it will make it so you can not search your folders/mailboxes. So this one is not recommending if you are using Office products.

Jeez...I tried EVERY recommendation I could find to fix this problem which was absolutely crippling more often times than not for no apparent reason. Now, my disk system disk usage is literally 'on the floor'. The system is very responsive again. It was the storage/disk controller regedit fix along with your swap file size recommendation . The easy 'fix', although it costs money:
Just uprgrade your disk to SSD.
I have tried your trick and it really works, but on some occasion it still doing this 100% disk usage thing again.
So, I upgraded to 256GB NVME SSD, and I never had to deal with those problem again.
