Looking back 54 years later, it's like another world has emerged, not much for the better unfortunately. The wide-eyed optimism of the Hippies has given in to a totalitarian, hyper-corporatized, commercialized, hypnotized world. It seems we didn't teach our children very well. Given that and Joni M's statement she's apolitical and then says she'd support Trudeau, I wonder if she would change that statement given Trudeau junior's recent dictatorial slant.

Had to check Wikipedia to be sure, but David Crosby was a Leo, he sure looked like one here.
I didn’t know they discussed astrology later in the segment and that Joni had stated he was a Leo.

a lot of commenters here forget that they were KIDS, barely out of their teens. They were certainly more articulate than 90% of the kids in their 20's now...

I live right outside the area of Woodstock where they had the concert you should see it now it's so beautiful I was only 10 years old when all that was happening remembering them now I'll seeing then how young they were

Wasted opportunity. Could have asked a lot of questions about Woodstock, instead dumb questions and comments from the interviewer and smug dialogue.

Cavett is one of the most awkward interviewers of all time. So often he's disrespectful, downright rude. No chill at all.

Bravo to these excellent artists for sitting through this with such grace and charm, they all have direct and polite answers without selling out.

Funny.. I think many people consider Woodstock to be one of the most momentous even in rock-'n'-roll history. But even now if you hear any of the artists involved talk about it, they all act like it was no big deal.
