Here's something to know, those green "health" crystals you're finding were actually purple and called "save" crystals in the original. You COULD NOT SAVE the game without one.... Just imagine how tricky that got in the later levels lol

This walkthrough must be restarted. I cannot believe he continued to play without locking Winston in the fridge like every player. That really hurt me and I couldn't watch any further knowing that this guy still lurking around Lara's mansion.

There's something beautiful about these unrealistic maps. Something most modern games don't have. It made it feel like you were in some alternate dimension that's kind of like earth, but more blocky, mazey, and confusing. I found myself getting bored with later tomb raider games cause everything felt too real.

Bs'd this one as a kid because all I remember is running away from the old man and riding that atv. Guess I never bothered to actually play it 😅

Every so often this game crashes and you end up in the Space Between Spaces.

The Nevada levels are my favorite levels in the game by far.

This game is hard but I enjoy playing it at least once a year.

That is one of greates adventure games of all time. I wish someone could remake this with modern graphics, but same nice music and story. This would be awesome !

For Tomb Raider 2, they made minor tweaks to the game engine. Smoothing out Laura's body and making her move her Ponytail freely, while improving the A.I. as well. For Tomb Raider 3, they made vast improvements while adding new graphical features such as Color Lighting, smoke when coming from the barrels of the gun. the water ripple that looks much better than the original and using triangular polygons. Laura now has some moves besides the midair roll and side wall climbing. She can now crouch and crawl into tight spaces and has a speed boost for a limited amount of time which comes in handy and ceiling hand to hand climbing.

Honestly... who was able to beat game back in the days without cheating?

This guy is a pro because from what I remember and still recognize, the shading is too dark to see sometimes and the CONTROLS.. This game was a pain trying to master the controls.😅

I probably.missed 80% of the secrets when I played this on my PS1 back in '98.
I'm playing through it again now and it's like a whole new experience.
Just finished TR2 but this is a whole other beast. Clearly designed to up the challenge for returning tomb raider fans.

Stupid Question maybe, but on which console or computer version of the game did you have Medi Packs and Insta Health Crystals ? I played it back on the original Playstation and I think there you had save crystals and medi packs.

why didn't i knew the glitch as a child to get on lara's roof. that opens up completely new possibilities

I beat 1 and 2 but just couldn’t beat this one it’s the hardest and most confusing to me

I would honestly love to see them remake this game exactly as it was but with 2022 quality graphics because it was such an enjoyable (and difficult) game to complete with such creative and fun environments, yet it wasn't overwhealming or stuffed full of silly gimmics. It was just complex enough to challange you and no more. The visuals were good for the time and the musical elements were and still are superb.

I love this game, almost everything from TR I to IV is great. That sense of adventure, complexity and exploration remains unmatched.

This level is tragic. Not many clues where to go, and you switch some buttons, and you don't know what's happened. 3 part of classic Tomb Raider, for me is broken.

I played this sometime around 2001. as the youngest of seven i got the hand-me-down PS1 when my brothers got the gamecube. I dont think i made it past the first jungle but i fully remember the training area.
