This is a really misleading teaser. There isn't really anything that has similar vibes in the whole game. Except maybe the headless.

Coming back all these years later I realize this is probably a pretty significant moment storywise.
If my hunch is correct. what we're seeing here is the sculptur attaching the prosthetic to Wolf, hence the cord being so bloodsoaked
