Best Day Hikes in Glencoe, Scotland | Lost Valley & Ballachulish

What a wonderful video. I stayed at the Clachaig Inn around 40 years ago and did the Lost Valley walk. Never thought I'd see it again but thanks to you two, some happy memories have been refreshed and it brought a tear to my eye. Thank you.

Glencoe has Buachaille Etive Mòr and Buachille etiv Beag, which are sort of more intresting than these 2, but those are proper mid level hikes ...

What dish were you eating in the Clachaig Inn? It looks like it might be veggie/vegan? My wife is vegan, and I'm looking for a restaurant where she'll have more interesting options than 'salad' :) for when we visit in October.Thanks for the great video; we're thinking of doing both these hikes!

Great video, adore the colours, well put together and very informative, but please take your hat off while eating in Scotland, unless your outside. It’s considered bad etiquette.

I did lost valley in the 80’s and then to the back and up to Bidean nam bien took all day..But what scenery!!!

Stunning, it was a lifelong dream to go to Scotland; I went to St. Marys loch last Autumn, but everything went wrong. I suffer from Chronic fatigue syndrome, and it's a fight to get my legs to work, very painful. The 350-mile drive from Cambridgeshire caused me to suffer terrible issues, including brain fog, in the motorhome for 5 days in bed. Recovered a little, went for a 1.5-mile walk. Made my illness even worse. I ended up walking about 5 miles in the 16 days I was there, so I had to leave. Cost over £600 grrr. I sit here looking at your video, and thick if I did that, it would e the last thing I ever did, and I love walking but my legs can fail without warning, causing me to go over often.

Amazing video footage, really enjoyed your blog, I've just got the Mavic 2 Pro and hope to capture some of these magnificent views, we love the Highlands, Glencoe’s one of our favourites, we did the first part of the Lost Valley, but didn't have time to go the full way, so its a must for us to go back and make the time. We have toured around Scotland on several occasions, we jus keep wanting to come back and explore more of this beautiful part of the country, with amazing landscapes, very nice and welcoming people, great food and the unpredictable weather makes the country looks quite mysterious or mystical. Can’t wait to go back, we're off to the Cairngorms later this year, just hope everything is settled and we are able to do our next Scottish Highlands adventure.

Wish my family didn't have to leave the place. Nothing more beautiful on earth than the Scottish highlands.

Glencoe’s gorgeous! I toured Scotland in three different occasions and the country is just beautiful, amazing landscapes, nice people, great food and the weather makes the country looks quite mysterious or mystical. Can’t wait to go back. I would love to go to the Isles . I only know the isle of Skye which la crème de la crème!
