Came for the crypto scam, stayed for the fun malware analysis work.
Ответитьhonestly I already don´t click links or download random stuff but this video spooked me a bit, I now feel like I can´t trust any links ever
ОтветитьJauwn isn't replying to my smoke signals :(
Ответитьthe site address sounds like a geocity link, lmao
ОтветитьShame. I trusted Window Defender a lot
ОтветитьPointless math? Wow it is a crypto game after all
Ответить“kindly”… 😂
ОтветитьI thought that this is just a crypto scam uncover channel, I was pleasantly surprised when you start pentesting, packet capturing, and reverse engineering the scam
Ответитьthis better not transform into another arg
ОтветитьHere's the thing. Those "AI detection" sites are total bullshit. They exist just to scam you out of your money. Same for the sites that promise to protect your artwork from being used in AI by "poisoning" it. If you want to see for yourself, go grab some covers from old fantasy books, and upload them to these sites. I tried it with the covers from the Wheel of Time series, and every site told me it was over 90% probability for each of them that they were AI generated. Ironically, one of them told me the text off their own website was AI generated.
ОтветитьIf crypto bros are too lazy to make their game, you think they'll try to scam you better? Dont joke around
ОтветитьThis needs far more views to spread awareness of this kind of scam
Ответить1337 services.
leet services
Looking at this again, I think I know why your virus did a bunch of useless calcs; It detected it was in a VM sandbox. A lot of droppers now can detect if they're in a VM and do a bunch of misdirecting junk rather than unpacking their payload in a bid to make it harder for security researchers to work out how they function, and it seems like you hit that here.
Ответитьyou also have to be carefull about .zip files now, linus tech tips got hit with one of those and i got hit with it while trying to look up a datasheet. when i pressed to view the pdf it instead downloaded a file, when i canselled the download my browser crashed and my computer got all kinds of new stuff on it. i tried to reformat that computer but the attacker still had acces as i caught him litterly moving my mouse on my newly reinstalled windows. that computer is in the trash now and the expensive mistake will be forever remembered. windows is dumber then ever and you no longer have to run stuff to get a virus.
ОтветитьHow you manage to appear less trustworthy than pirating websites, impressive
Ответитьokay but when does the game review start
ОтветитьThey write in a style like alot of chinese on alibaba...
also - they have all similar names, like nancy.B Andy, and often extravagant like some shakira ;d
"Dear" and "Kindly" are instant flags that whatever being pitched is a scam
ОтветитьYou gonna do a yansim video?
Ответитьlol @ thisisscary.exe
ОтветитьWow hope I win user:Owen45645
ОтветитьI thought I was watching a no text to speech video
ОтветитьI wanna add with the article theft they could have used an ai article generator. One of the most common ai sites most people used back in the day wasn’t actual ai but STOLE chunks of articles and it reminds me a lot of that
ОтветитьDamn rosted all Nancy's.
ОтветитьThat ai detector site does give 80%/90% human on my ai generated images, so I would take that with a grain of salt.
Ответитьlate comment but: Do not store sensitive passwords in your browser and if you want to be really careful log out of websites, a lot of websites store a security cookie in your browser which enables you to get right back in without logging in again, but this cookie can be stolen and can be more powerful than your password since it bypasses any 2 factor authentication
ОтветитьLmao, they literally said "yes please disable antivirus and run the .exe it's perfectly safe, trust me bro"
Honestly hard to believe that anyone would fall for this but then again some people just are really dumb.
the “no real people are named Nancy” made me actually have to stop and think, because i actually know no one, family, friend or celebrity, named Nancy. my mind just kept going to Nancy Wheeler. i know that people named Nancy exist, but I don’t know any
Ответитьexplaining it like i was 5 was Very good and i rly liked this vid. Educational , simple 2 follow and quite Funny tbh
ОтветитьImmediately after this video I got an ad from (legit) bank warning about opening links that pretend to be postal service, your bank, IRS etc. and to stay safe online
Ответить28rd 💀💀💀
Ответить“Kindly disable the antivirus and run the file” how does anyone fall for that.
ОтветитьIf someone says "disable your antivirus and play the game" it's a scam, why would you NEED to turn off antivirus to play a video game?
Ответить"If something seems too good to be true, it probably is." I learned a slightly different version studying business in college: "If something seems too good to be true, it is."
Ответитьi declare marshall law against crypto scams
ОтветитьCan you please link the virus detectors you used? It's very scary to think files could access saved passwords to my computer
ОтветитьImagine when bots are going to become sentient.
OnlyFan bots and crypto bots are going to rule the world.
Frank Fontaine???
ОтветитьWhat antivirus do you use? Is it free or a paid subscription service?
ОтветитьThats some nice detective work their Nancy Drew
ОтветитьThey targeted morons.
ОтветитьSMS is actually a pretty terrible 2FA, especially for spear phishing; which is what the use case for red line is going to be, usually.
There have been several high profile accounts that have been hacked through sim swapping.
You're better off with TOTP (when available), if you're going for a software solution.
