Interesting commentary on Fox. I don't think that something is "Mainstream" because it is popular. I think it's "mainstream," because that is the prevailing thought among the folks presenting the news- ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and the others- they all think one way and present the information in one way and to favor one side. I don't believe that Fox is mainstream, because they present an alternate view of the news, which is why they are such a juggernaut- they are popular precisely because they do not go with the prevailing narrative.
