He looked like a real barbarian. There is nobody in wrestling today like them, nobody bar none.

Warlord is not mentioned as one of the "toughest" guys like Barbarian and Meng.
But good God he was stronger than skunk piss.

Back in the early 80s the Barbarian did a 500 lbs bench press when he wrestled in WWC in Puerto Rico it spread like Wild fire all over the island he was in his early 20s.
And he wasn't 300lbs yet .

Barb is so humble, & great guy. Saw him wrestle Ron Garvin in 86'. Barb was huge back then.

Met Barb and War years ago...they stay in character till dang near everyone had gone away(tons of folks were around them) but did come over and spend some time with my 8yo son that was really cool....very good guys...MASSIVE...guys who could work though.

Barb is mid 60s and doing 350 for 4 with shoulders that are definitely fried from all those years or benching. That is insane.

As a kid I was terrified of these guys now as a grown kid lol I admire these guys how humble and chill they are.

Honest guy as 655 with shirt and 590 without.. .Most all wrestlers quoted their best bench with shirt according to multiple wrestlers

I saw him bench 595 easily in the gym !

Barbarian such a humble guy. He legit scared me as a kid. Any team he was on was enjoyable. Powers of Pain, Faces of Fear.

Prime Barb had HUGE traps and shoulders. Not only that but he was a legit tough guy, not as tough as Haku but wayyyy up there.

Arn Anderson said in a recent interview that he saw Barbarian doing 565 on the incline bench press with no spotter and it wasn't a Smith machine either just free weights.

Tonga-Samoan (Barbarian) and Slavs (Warlord) are strongest people

Finally found a wrestling interviewer who asks good questions and, most importantly, lets the interviewee answer it without interrupting!

My brother, who in his prime was 6'2" and 265 met Warlord and Davey Boy Smith at a local gym. He said Warlord was the absolute largest human being he had ever seen.

He said they talked training for a bit and then parted ways, but he still talks about meeting Warlord, Davey Boy, and at one point, Macho back in the early/mid 90's

They should have been champs at least once

I remember seeing a royal rumble which had barbarian vs the big boss man (at the time a V.decent worker), and was amazed at barbs show of strength throughout the match.. suplexing and piledriving the 350+ pounder the bossman like it was nothing! Granted boss had a hand, but my god I think gorilla monsoon said it best ‘some say, barbarian doesn’t have a clue how strong he is!’.
Warlord was a beast as well, but Barb edges him out I reckon.
