You know sometimes its hard being a smart kid because you are forced to get good grades sometimes and, your parents always check on your grades to make sure you are passing their standards not the schools. When you dont they always punish you. So its not easy being the smart kid becuase you dont know what its like to be in their situation.. and i am a smart kid cause i go throught this.. and im speaking for all the smart kids who also go through this..its hard,its hard 😢

There are 2 possible reasons the smart kid freaks out.

1: they are expected to get 100% so they have to at all times, and then the smart kid freaks out when the smart kid fails to do so.

2: Their parents might get really angry at them for not getting 100%, so then the kid gets abused by the parents. So the reason the smart kid was freaking out was because the smart kid is afraid.

I remember i always used to cry for 89 or 90 and now im so happy if i get like a 74 or above on an ap test

guys u have to understand that the "smart kid" when he cries over 90 is because his parents would hate that grade so don't just make memes about it like that

One time in my class the smart kid started crying because they got a 99!

Theres this girl in my class who cries like a f*cking baby when she gets lower than a 9 out of 10 (grading works differently on our school) whiles the whole class gets below 5,5 which is just enough to make it to the next grade

When I was 13. I get B in my eng text (I'm still not good at eng) And I cried sooo loud....because I know my tuition teacher is gonna kill me. After that happened, I been called cry baby for two whole years...and stillllllll.

As a "smart kid", I can confirm that whenever we get a grade slightly lower than our expectations, we start to cry out loud in class

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT. I'm the person that has to stand up and explain this. I would never consider myself smart but I usually got 87-100% in exams. The reason why we get upset is because we're angry we didn't do better or some of us are afraid of out parents. Thankfully I'm just mad at myself.
