I just showed my four year old daughter how animation works. "I know how it works now!" Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьThis is true animation right here.
ОтветитьHey how do we use this style and create a animation video with it?
Ответитьthose paper with drawings are so valuable sir, a tone of work...for me are like DaVinci's sketches...
Ответить😁👍
Ответить💪💪💪💪💪
ОтветитьIn my opinion, real animation is better done in 3D, but for animations that are very fantasy, traditional animation is better because you can create features on the characters that are difficult and sometimes impossible in 3D. Like Tom and Jerry
Ответитьwonderful, thanks
Ответитьi had just seen "Huh"? by Mike Judge, extremely crude style but captivated me enough to look further into how the process is done. Interesting story telling media maybe ill take a crack at it!
ОтветитьI have a BFA degree in Animation, and I never learned this. Insane!
ОтветитьHi Where you get your desk ? Thank you or what is the brand
ОтветитьSir, I am LOVING these videos! I’m learning a lot! I want to ask, how can I animate two objects in the same scene, but both are moving at different speeds? Thank you! Great videos!
ОтветитьDoes/did the hardness of the pencil matter?
I would imagine you had a range or a specific lead type. The Bs would be nice and dark but smudge while the Hs wouldn't smudge but would be too light, so something close to HB I assume?
Does the crinckled paper interfere with the final animation? Fantastic explanation by the way :)
ОтветитьGotta go traditional, my equipment keeps breaking and replacement parts are non existent...
ОтветитьGeniooooo❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThe thing is, for in-between artists and animators, with no context you’d walk into a studio with a bunch of presumed lunatics rapidly flipping through paper as they make seemingly stray lines on blank paper. The though really makes me chuckle.
ОтветитьThat’s soo impressive!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩
ОтветитьWhat if you're a righty? Opposite corner? Or does top pegs work better?
Ответитьwhat paper size do you use to animate the tiger on this video?
ОтветитьGreatly appreciated from here in Uganda 🇺🇬
ОтветитьHay a camera 😂 and frame's
ОтветитьWow, that's such a lot of work, amazing how people find the patience to do all those drawings!
ОтветитьThis is SO cool!
Ответитьthis is why I want to become an animator. To give 2D and traditional animation its glory again.
ОтветитьWell done, I am doing a lesson on hand drawn animation for my high school students to help them appreciate how much effort goes into making these films. Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьHe said Lion king I'm trying to figure which lioness she is. Also I like how neat the drawing looks
ОтветитьIt's insane how much work is involved. Creating a feature film like Lion King by hand would require so much patience.
Ответитьmy brain hurts from the thought of how many times you have to draw essentially the "same" "thing" in order to accurately depict a movement. this art-form is truly magical. thank u for sharing. much respect.
Ответить✨As a lifelong illustrator and character designer, who has directed CG animation and seen my design work animated digitally by others, this just gave me the kind of inspirational glow I’d get as a kid obsessing over my books on animation. What a great encounter with this magical art form in its most raw and accessible form. I really hope this video reaches people who genuinely didn’t know how labour intensive but pure animation can be. Literally imagination brought to life before one’s eyes✨
ОтветитьI really love how Mr. Blaise draws lions.
ОтветитьWow thats why classic disney has so much handmade soul
ОтветитьWow true art form !
ОтветитьFantastic!
ОтветитьCan someone tell me how to record it in a way that it would look real ?
ОтветитьNow they wanna be lazy
ОтветитьI think this video really explains a lot to me because I’m almost 11 and I wanna be a animator and share my videos to others 🎉 so I think this helps🥳
ОтветитьThank you for this video I want to see it regularly ❤
ОтветитьThis guy is drawing with his left hand, wich for me its yet more impressive.
ОтветитьGreat video! Graphics tablets with screens are too expensive for me so lately I'm learning how to animate... old school
ОтветитьThat page flipping is asmr gasmic
Ответитьdahil po sayo gumawa gawa ako ng reflection ngayon :>
Ответитьaint no way boi
ОтветитьI know this was a while ago and I'm not sure if anyone asked this question yet but if you do that and you wrinkle the paper do you still use that copy for the final?
ОтветитьHoly Molly, when he started drawing while flipping my jaw droped, HUGE mastery, patience and art involved in every classic piece and we just take it for granted, i can't help but feel respect for this Master over here
Ответитьjapanese animators use top peg
ОтветитьJust found your page as I am just getting into animation school. They are so helpful and love how expressive your drawings are!
Ответитьflash animation is better than traditional pen and paper and you are still doing this in 2020 you are literally a grandfather I bet your grandson hates your no sleep pen and paper because digital flash animation is so much better and I don't get to stay up at 7 AM
ОтветитьBut your paper gets wrecked from flipping, so how do you fix that for the animation?
Ответить
