Part of the fun of tarkov is the learning. I'm sure abi is better for some people but I still like the learning curve of tarkov.

ABI is boring

Nah I got into the beta day one and I only played until I unlocked the harder zone in a couple hours. Tbh it's boring.

It doesn't have the depth of tarkov and it has worse gunplay than tarkov bc it uses tarkov's old recoil system (guess that slipped through with the code).
I also always thought that "what if" tarkov was made in UE would it run better and be better? Well this answered that question. Yea it runs really well but does it look better? No, not in the slightest. Tarkov just has this theme, like its own aesthetic that just can't be copied. Are there things they do that are good? Yea nice quality of life things that honestly tarkov should just take lol.
Also I don't like the map in ABI, I think tarkov should copy the idea but instead make your character have a gps map that fills in as you explore points of interest and discover places and it tells you when you find something. Then you get that sense of initial exploration while creating a map to make your time easier to navigate afterwards in the future.

In the end its just tarkov lite for the people who may have wanted to play tarkov but couldn't get into it or play it at all. Tarkov was always a niche game that just grew in popularity in the past 5 years. And it will keep chugging along and thats fine, it's a very ambitious game.

I actually played the mobile version of the game to actually get a feel for the Out of beta release of infinite the only problem for me was the whole "pay for high tier loot" thing, and the shitty optimization. Players who play F2P has a lot of disadvantages compared to players who pay for most of their gear. I shit you not, i got killed by a level 15 player in lockdown who paid for his gear with Tier 6 ammo, armor, and high tier gun. Barely anyone in that level has 1 mil let alone have koens to splurge that much koens. Heck most level 30's I see even wear tier 3 gear since splurging that much for gear is dumb as hell when you could just get shot by a rat with an Mp5. While i a level 25 player with 2 mil with tier 4 gear which costs around 120k. Kitting tier six costs around 800k. The game is absolutely fucked. The community is even worse since they're saying this isn't pay to win. Barely anyone I play with who's a free to play rarely survives a match from either tier 6 P2W's or some sniper with a mosin magically headshoting you despite doing the serpentine maneuver whilet sprinting. There's a reason why most Level 30's in the game play using tier4 and below since some cheater or some bloke who paid his way to success. The only reason most players continue on this sisyphian task is because they want to get rich in game and to alleviate the whole broke in real life thing. The game is going to be absolutely pay to win the moment it goes out of CBT. Considering what tencent did to squad it wouldn't be surprising.

the funny thing is SPT has been doing the color ammo indicator to tell what's good or not for a long while, so to see Arena come out swinging with that is great. Hell, I might even try it... if I can get a copy that is. (Also, while I understand the soft language bit, it feels weird cuz the shellshock analogue was actually the opposite effect in a sense? It went from "Stop being a bitch, get over it" to "Hey, we actually kinda have to treat this, this is serious")

Arena Breakout is literally Tarkov light. You just get the jump spams and dumb shit signature of COD. Tarkov didn't catch people's eyes because of the extraction aspect, it's always been the realism and learning as you go. People always seem to forget that lol

You get self revive kits from a faction contact in the mobile version. You guys on PC will have this, too.

The mobile version is absolutely loaded, and if you haven't tried it you're in for a real treat when the full version is released

The only thing that annoys me about AB is the fact you tank your stamina after running for 30 seconds. As former military and ultra runner this is a little annoying, like why does my character have the stamina of an incel thats never been outside for more than 5 minutes

As long as they dont bring p2w armor and guns i dont really care and about koens if someone has like a billion and goes in every raid with expensive gear they can die pretty fast if the enemy uses the right ammo and has skill

Solo players are having same issues on the mobile version.
A simplar solution would be to reduce the total number of players per team to 2 or 3
Effectively giving solo players a chance while not adding ques

Tarkov is a prime example of a game being "too realistic", as in... it's focus on "rEaLiSm" ends up bogging the game down and makes it not fun.
