Not watching the Peanuts holiday specials when they air around their specific holiday is a crime.
ОтветитьYea.... yea..... yea................ yea........ yea............. yea.
Ответить'Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead' is AMAZING!!! 💚
ОтветитьDude could you ever put these on Blu-ray??
ОтветитьI am legend came out in 2007
ОтветитьHorror was called melodrama in tv guide when I was a kid.
ОтветитьNot letting the other one talk is a great strategy for a talkshow
ОтветитьI love Monster Madness in every shape. once a day, once a week, i'd even accept only one video on halloween day. whatever James does, it always get me in the spooky spirit
ОтветитьDamn I miss mike
Ответитьnaomi watts is AUSTRALIAN
Ответитьthey kinda did a team-up with the universal monters monster force
ОтветитьThat Cold Day in the Park, w/Sandy Dennis is horror.
ОтветитьCan't watch anything with Mike in it. 👎🏻
ОтветитьMiss Mike being a part of Cinemassacre. Him and James worked so hard to make it what it is. Mike was alot more instrumental to the success of it then is credited for. Him and James had something special with each other that no one else with James has been able to capture again. Hope they can join back together sometime.
ОтветитьParamont? 😂
ОтветитьNo I don’t want action oriented Universal Monsters movies, I think the Wolfman remake was actually pretty good, they need to make them serious & atmospheric
ОтветитьThe Omen decapitation is pretty accurate of how that would really play out, people get decapitated in car accidents all the time from the windshield
ОтветитьReturn of the living dead is one of the best zombie films
ОтветитьI always thought Buffalo Bill was scarier than Hannibal, he’s more like a real serial Killer rather than Hannibal “acting” like one
ОтветитьSchindler’s list, taxi driver, & Passion are not horror
ОтветитьYall talking over each other is very distracting
ОтветитьYou know these guys are true nerds when they apparently don't know that the World friggin Series has for ages been in late October.
Ответить"Say-Den-Ists"
ОтветитьAdding the monsters was good. That movie was great.
ОтветитьGotta bring this up again. Phibes is the only one disfigured in the car accident, his wife died of an organ failure or some kind of illness, and the acid was going to SCAR the son of Dr. Vesalius (though I guess a six minute buildup of acid would be enough to kill the kid (it definitely killed Phibes' assistant, even though she came back in the sequel)), and he's locked in place underneath the container which is on the upper floor. The key unlocks the restraint around the boy's neck, and the doctor needed it to remove the key from the kid in order to unlock said restraint and move him out of the way. The machine is only turned off after the police arrive.
ОтветитьI've seen most of these segments on previous Halloweens, but I never noticed the sideways futon frame behind James before!
ОтветитьLOVE Suspiria--the use of Imbibition Technicolor is so distinctive and amazing. It's actually using the same techniques as "The Wizard of Oz." Dario wanted the same color you see in "Snow White"--he originally wanted much younger girls. Note where the doorknobs are--all deliberately raised to make the cast look smaller. A masterpiece. And my wife HATES it... Makes it even more entertaining in my opinion. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьMike is like that guy you have to put up with because you're friends with the other one
ОтветитьMy 2 favorite Halloweens were 1995, when I got this huge pile of candy, & a few years later, when I went to this village of storytellers in Atlanta GA. Also 2 years ago, when I went to Lake Joy Trails of Terror, they had live entertainment for the line wait, it was awesome.
ОтветитьI feel really bad in saying this but I can't ignore it: Mike remembers movies horribly, and I like the segments where James is reviewing alone much more. I seem to tune out the other way.
Thank you for more Monster Madness to ring in the Halloween season! It is part of my tradition!
P.S. - Did you turn your futon frame on its side to make those bars behind you?? 😅
Mr. Boogity was awesome!!!
ОтветитьThe Giant Claw reminds me of a giant flying Thanksgiving Turkey. Some great classic Sci-Fi/Horror movies.
ОтветитьYears later and this is still the worst monster madness to me, being completely unscripted is one thing but you can really tell they didn’t even rewatch a lot of these beforehand
Ответитьanyone know if they uploading these for any specifc reason, like they are bringing it back or something ?
ОтветитьI like both of these guys. there's nothing negative I can say about either.
however,...... since listening to James do all the other monster madness
episodes solo I find it much harder too enjoy with them both going back
and forth. they start going off topic so many times it kinda ruins what James
intended to say. fortunately, he usually does a quick course correction to get
them back on topic, but it happens so often I definitely get less info on each
movie than when James does it solo. not hating the boys. just not liking the boys
together only in videos for monster madness. even that's not a hate. just a doesn't
like.
69 comments? Lemme fix that
ОтветитьYes! More fog is needed! In complete agreement with your comments on fog in City of the Dead - one of my personal favs.
ОтветитьJames really has a problem understanding the pronunciation of words
ОтветитьThe ending of The Descent with her hallucinating her dead daughter and all the crawlers surrounding her, is the best ending. The sequel sucks. The movie started dark, and it ended dark. Just the way I like it.
ОтветитьThis was my personal favorite MM. I always looked forward to James and Mike videos
ОтветитьMonster Madness is an integral part of Halloween as far as I'm concerned- Keep the Halloween content coming!
ОтветитьAnd Alien I actually put in science fiction before horror simply because of the attention to detail with the world building. It's such a passively fleshed out future.
ОтветитьJurassic Park doesn't feel like a sci fi film because it has the Spielberg horror and adventure elements, but it really is true science fiction. I believe it was rated the 5th most scientifically accurate movies ever made by Forbes or a similar magazine. It's all based in Crichton vetted science, it's Frankenstein with dinosaurs.
ОтветитьThe macguffin would have to be humanity. They all just wanna be normal people right? Im pretty sure none of them asked to be monsters. So my vote is for humanity. In this instance at least.
ОтветитьSadly the huge corporation who owns TMC cut its funding way back, so people aren't going to find them on tv.
ОтветитьWhere is Mike?
ОтветитьI can't lie Human centipede would have been worse if the 3rd act had them rip the mouth from ass........man lol GROSS but awesome
