This case is very Sad and also very Strange and weird - plus very interesting now. The one thing that sticks out is the Special Forces Soldiers were involved in the Dennis martin case and the Search and worked alone from the Rest of the Searchers and after a couple of days the Special Forces Soldiers lefted with No answers on what they did or found. * The supposed reason for the Soldiers being there was training and and helping with the search in the area. Very Strange story. 1

Perhaps, a person in some kind of camouflage, was seeking a kid, snatched him up. once the person was far enough from the family he put the boy over the shoulder, hence the scream at the second location, and then ran the rest of the way to the car. They had clues to an abduction but for some reason ignored them. A wild person could be looking for company , but I don't think a small child would be good sustenance. An adolescent big foot maybe.

I Beleive he was abducted. There's no way they wouldn't be able to find him only being missing that short of time & they were right there. So Sad! ✌🏼❤

It’s actually super hard to get a ginseng permit in Appalachia! You have to apply in a lottery type system, and if a game warden catches you without one you get a hefty fine and they confiscate your stash($$$$ lost)

We had a Pharmacist who harvested and sold ginseng as a kid. His mother found a shoebox FULL of cash. He had been harvesting and selling ginseng. I am not sure what the laws/rules were on it then.
Non of us could fathom this "nerdy" Pharmacist to be involved in anything so nefarious.

My theory is he was kidnapped by a person in a ghillie suit. I think chloroform was used and maybe he was coming to and screamed when the family heard him. Then he was driven out of the area before the search got started good.

It rained a lot so the blood and stuff from an animal attack would have been washed away… so it could still be a possibility.

I find missing 411 cases so interesting. I watched some Netflix shows about this especially the one with David Paulidas. My thoughts goes to the families, always wondering but never forgotten. ❤️
