you said imagine this in the US. There are places like this all over the US. Even in a small town Ithaca near where I live has an almost identical scene. That where you are in this video is nothing like Hollywood or Silicone Valley which you said. Maybe you should visit here because you make lots of wildly incorrect comments about the US in a lot of your videos. One thing you add and leave out alot are truths about the behavior of England in the past. Otherwise I enjoy your videos.

One of my favorite places in Europe is Bavaria. Some of the best memories I have are there.

Rick Steves has given us plenty of places to see and things to do over our many years if travel.

I was in Munich in 1998. Went to the Oktoberfest and the castles in Fussen and the Bundestag elections were held on the last Sunday in September that year.

Planning a honeymoon. Is this a good place in late November or is it unbearably cold?

I would love to go back to Germany. I am German French--American.

I love all of Rick's European videos, but this one is my favorite, probably because my favorite European country is Germany, with Bavaria being my favorite part. He does a great job of sharing some epic highlights. I've been there twice in the past 12 months and I can't wait to go back!

Ahhhhhh Munchen (no umlauts on my keyboard)....many fond memories ! I was there in eintuasendneunzehnhundredsechsundseibsig, for give the spelling, for a high school German class trip. I learned so much about the history and language of Germany....the rides on the Ubahn in Munchen at night was fun...we rode all over the place...you could eat off the floors back then...the Germans were extremely clean back then...I don't know about now.

There are a lot of things to see, thank you for sharing.

Rick Steves gets paid to enjoy high living in the top cultures of Europe. I wish I only knew to apply for that job sooner.

If you ever in Munich a short train ride to near Salzburg to visit Adolf Hitlars eagles nest is a must. The views are very scenic

I have traveled far and wide, and Bavaria is without doubt the most beautiful place I have ever been.

Having just come back from Munich, I am not sure to be more amazed of the art work and history or the fact that the city was completely rebuilt, including many works of art.

I can understand why Rob Pilatus would remain in Munich as it is beautiful, a comfort spot, his birthplace.

Bavaria is absolutely stunning. I was there 30 years ago. I visited the castles of Ludwig II. I remember sitting on the balcony of my hotel at night, looking out to see both Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles light up at night. It really felt magical. I've been to Munich twice and it is such a great city. Would love to go back.

omg the crowds LOL. Just was there in October and it was sooo empty due to covid... like 1/100th of the crowds in this video
