ОтветитьIn NZ we got the Toyota Altezza RS version with the Yamaha 2.0 BEAMS engine (the actual good engine) with a 6 speed manual and LSD ;) Also This steering wheel is a good mod for the 3rd gen 4runner/surf.
ОтветитьThe worst thing about this car is they get 19mpg (and are slow), and they are nearly impossible to find in good condition. Since they were one of the cheaper models kids got them 10 years ago and started destroying them.
Ответить'I bought an IS300 and no one's lookin' at me.'
- IMO, that would be the entire point to this car, mod the 2JZ-GE up to a GTE, leave the appearance stock and run a quiet exhaust, and then basically have a sleeper Supra.
This thing is perfect if you want a stealthy Supra since it looks like every other sedan on the road but hides Supra DNA under the hood.
Looking for these now (2JZ) for my son. Man, I saw an 02’ with like 50K and asking $30K! WTF!
ОтветитьThe ending had me dying.
ОтветитьThe 2j brings anime girls to life 😂😂🤣🤣😭😭
ОтветитьMy bestfriend had a 03 Lex Is 300. But I would most def by a 2017 Lex Is 300
ОтветитьPicked up an is300 today! Sooo technically I have an altezza?
ОтветитьThe start of this video is too accurate. You have been to MFF and you can't convince me otherwise
ОтветитьBut I wanted the 2001 of it 😥😢
ОтветитьThese are always rusty, crashed, or high mileage these days! But after these last 2 years I barely ever see one on the road and I drive for 8 hours daily! They are almost extinct!
ОтветитьI'm a brand "new" is300 owner. 2002 make with 112k miles, and its a dream. Only thing I have to worry about is that its original radiator is on the way out, but given what I've got and the goofy grins I've gotten just from flooring it I'm more than happy to feed it whatever it demands (even my own soul if it so asks).
ОтветитьRofl so much trash talk
Ответитьbutthurt
ОтветитьA car for rich kids when its new, now its a car for adults that were poor kids who couldn't afford it but can now after 20 years 😅
ОтветитьYeah, now you can get them cheap if you look hard enough. Id gladly daily one of these in 2022.
ОтветитьCommon RCR L
ОтветитьLooks to me like you're so fuckin stupid..
ОтветитьMy cousin owned a black 2003 IS300 back in 2019. When he was driving his 03 IS300, my father drove a white 2016 IS300. Both liked their IS300 and they both say that out of all the cars they drove the IS300 was the car that was the best at braking.
ОтветитьThese things are surprisingly cheap considering that they have the 2J, though I’m pretty sure the Toyota altezza is a little cheaper
Ответитьif Regina George was male...
ОтветитьMe, a papa johns employee that is on my second one and not rich at all lmao
Ответить😆 🤣 😂 First time watching your videos.
Ответитьthis was my first car when i was 16. i loved it
Ответитьoh its an Altezza
ОтветитьThe Rosemont, Illinois line kills me.
ОтветитьGo Xavier! I'm a superstar >3
Ответить2003 Lexus is 300 for sale , comment if interested !
ОтветитьI’d compare IS series cars closest to C class Mercedes. Same kind of dimensions, engine sizes and power, etc. But the Lexus is nicer.
ОтветитьPhgag
ОтветитьNow they’re hard to find, ranging from 9-20k. One just popped up after years of searching at my Lexus dealer with a manual trans that’s not priced yet.
ОтветитьJARL TOYOTA
ОтветитьI still love the look of the 1st gen IS. I almost bought a used one a while back, and when I test-drove it I noticed that it was undramatic, but when you put your foot down the additional speed seemed to just pour on in spades. I liked a lot about that car but we just couldn't make a deal.
Ответитьbro has some beef with this car😭
ОтветитьI have the Sportcross (wagon verson of this car) and love it. It's the same as the sedan minus the douchiness. Also the second rarest Lexus model after the LFA! (3066 made from 2003-2005)
ОтветитьGreat video if it wasn't for the not funny guy attempting to be funny. Rename the vid, "how to be a total goof on camera"
ОтветитьThis was going to be my first car back in 2009. It was manual too! But I was talked out of it because the brakes were bad and the wiper stick was pretty much broken off and the lot owner wouldn't fix it for the price he was asking lol. Oh what could have been
ОтветитьIt must be the NFS in me talking, but I looove these cars
ОтветитьI bought my one owner manual from a lawyer, it was garage kept it's entire life and probably thrashed around by his son
ОтветитьLol
ОтветитьKeep uploading
ОтветитьSitting here as a guy named Russell, and I’m buying an early 2000s GS300 with the 2JZ and my friends have heard me blabber about it…yeah I got called out hard here XD
Ответитьyou have done it again good sir- and with that, sheer genius!
ОтветитьI was the hick from the farm school that bought one of these used in 2010. With a stick. And cash. I had a GMC Sonoma with electrical problems we couldn't find that would just shut off randomly before this, and a 1980 Datsun before that. The quality and lack of thought I had to give to it was such a shift.
ОтветитьYou nailed this at the end. It was absolutely a highway cruiser. I drove mine home to Memphis from Houston and tailed an M45 that was going 125 a lot of the way. It was still the fastest I've ever gone and I don't much desire to go faster. In that thing it felt like 75. The trick in that car was never what it could do off the line, or around turns. It was to rev it and throw it into third while rolling at about 35 (mine was a stick) and go to 120, shifting around 90, and then ask the person next to you how fast they think you just went.
ОтветитьOwned one of these later in life when they were cheap(er). Phenomenal car.
ОтветитьDrive good
ОтветитьSome dude named Chad pounded this insufferable guys girlfriend and dropped her back off at his mothers house in one of these.
