Will my m12 work?
ОтветитьI regret buying a Ryobi. After 3 mixes on low speed, it started smoking. I returned it and bought a Milwaukee instead. Ryobi is great for the price but I rather buy once and cry once.
ОтветитьJust blew out the gearbox on the newest Makita XPH14 doing this lol.
Which is surprising because I have 2 other midsized makita that have been spinning drywall mud for years with no issues
Thanks for answering my question
ОтветитьThat's exactly what I'm setting up for is a 1/2" countertop and it's only 79 1/2" by 26. Only need about 4 bags when you exclude the sink. If that Ryobi can do it with 18v I'm positive my 20v drill with my flexvolt battery on it can surely spin a couple buckets. Thanks man you saved me $75.
Ответитьtry the DCD130 by Dewalt. theres no turning back after
ОтветитьI'm doing 1 project but will be about 200 or so bags. Will the 18volt be fine? Or ho ahead and get the big drill just for that project?
ОтветитьNice video, thanks! I want to make some lawn edgers and will pour the concrete in molds that will be in place in the yard. The mold will be 2” wide x 7” high. Question: would you recommend I use quikrete 5000 or rapid set 24/6. Will be mixing in 5 Gal bucket, thanks
ОтветитьThanks Mike
ОтветитьQuick and to the point, great video!
ОтветитьThanks for the low speed tip, I was definitely going to use the high speed instinctively.
ОтветитьFrickin amazing!! Thanks!!
ОтветитьWish I knew about the low torque setting it's just burned up my rigid drill. That's okay I'll go take it to home Depot so they can ship it out service I'll get a free motor replacement. Got to love the 3-year warranty before the LSA kicks in
ОтветитьThanks for making this. I was wondering how the Ryobi would do
Ответитьexactly the video I was looking for
ОтветитьYou just saved my wallet. Thank you so much. Great video. Great tips.
ОтветитьI always use my 1/2 electric
ОтветитьWish I would have seen this video before I fried my drill lol
ОтветитьThe paddle makes a big difference too. The one in this video is much better than the two blade and others. For mixing cement stuff/rapid set that is
ОтветитьWell, you hooked me again. Thanks for the lesson on the drill. I have never played with the numbers and honestly don't know what they mean. That's why I love your channel, I always learn something new. Thanks for another fun video. Now if I could just figure out what tools you need to finish building your guitar. lol
ОтветитьLOL - great points!
ОтветитьBeautiful video enjoyed watching always stay connected ❤
ОтветитьNice sharing enjoyed watching always stay connected 💐
ОтветитьI once used a hammer drill to mix concrete and I accidentally pulled the trigger after pulling the mixing bit out of the bucket and whipped my leg. Ouch! It’s a small hammer drill and it was enough to do a number on my leg for 2 whole seconds!
ОтветитьMakita Hammer-Drill......corded 120VAC. Done.
ОтветитьHey, did you lose weight? Looking good!
ОтветитьDecent video... I give it 9.5/10.
Needs more Husky interference...
you tease you LOL ....... I have to admit I love my Ryobi tools....
ОтветитьHe he he You're a genius
From the very first one (when I stumbled upon iy on the day it arrived) your videos have been the best
So…I poured a concrete countertop with your directions- worked great!! Wondering if you might guide us through making a concrete pathway/ walkway? That’s on my “to-do list” ….just a thought! I think a walkway to your shed would be perfect!😜 Thanks!!
ОтветитьI just did my first pour today - Man About Tools Raised Garden Beds. I watched all your countertop videos first to make sure I was mixing it right. Not sure if I had the torque thing right, but I'll double-check tomorrow on my second pour. Thanks for the great videos Michael!!
ОтветитьMichael Builds: Don't forget to do the Captain Morgan.
Captain Morgan: I don't make concrete. I drink like a man..
The captain Morgan step is critical or the bucket spins as the drill turns...I learned the hard way. Good tip!
ОтветитьYeah Baby!
ОтветитьMy son and I love the Milwaukee tools and they work great for mixing.
ОтветитьJust in time! Gonna be making a fence. Great tip
ОтветитьI make concrete benches ,bird batks, flower bowls etc. I was worried I was going to burn out my drill motor. I picked up a hand held cement mixer. These are specific for mixing cement, morter, paint and plaster. I was also using my saws to vibrate. I think I fiined it. It gets hot and won't hold a charge now. I have to figure out another way to vi brate or make a vibrating table. I can't do the captain Morgan stance. I'm too tall at 6'3". I do the two feet on each side of the bucket and squat.
oing to
Michael. I would like to see a poured in place concrete countertop.
ОтветитьThanks for the tip. Not doing any concrete work now, maybe in the future. Charlie's not doing well in last stage of Dementia. 😥
ОтветитьI did notice you weren’t mixing rapid set! Hahah
ОтветитьWhat are you pouring here?
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say: cement or concrete.
I knew you were gonna make us wait 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
ОтветитьHeeeeyyyy! Michael!!!💕😁
ОтветитьI would also think that people would be better off using a corded drill if they are doing stuff like this quite a bit. This will eat batteries.
ОтветитьFirst like and comment!
