Ingredients

2 1/2 cups Rice Flour

2 1/2 cups Water

1 tsp salt

Scraped or powdered Jaggery

Grated Coconut

Edible Colours


1. Boil water and season with salt.

2. Once boiling, stir in rice flour, cover, and let it rest for 5 minutes.

3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and knead into a soft dough while warm.

4. Optionally, divide the dough into three parts,

5. Form small balls and press the dough to form holes so it gets cooked evenly and cook in boiling water for 8-10 minutes.

6. Allow the dough to cool, then use a Letri maker for shaping. Add the dough in the Letri cavity and press the handle and turn clockwise to let the strings form in a plate.

7. Serve Letri with grated coconut, jaggery.
