The horse didn't block the traffic. it was those motorcycles blocking the traffic. Those motorcycles are really annoying.

To be honest, you should never run a horse this fast on an asphalt road. This can cause injury to the horse. Horses should only run on grass or a dirt road. Every cowboy and cowgirl should know this.

You can tell how lawless/careless michigan is when traffic is literally going onto the pull over lane into whats basically a slow moving pursuit, bikers making shit worse, and finally some dumb people standing unbelted hanging out the window of their cars recording. This is embarassing.

Just so it's clear, while riding a horse on a street is legal, riding a horse on a limited access roadway is not. The Dan Ryan Expressway is a limited access roadway. The Chicago Police does have an equestrian unit and they love their horses. The cops did NOT beat this horse! The rider is abusing that animal by riding it so hard on HOT PAVEMENT! He is well known but usually takes care of his horse. Why he's doing this I couldn't say, but there has to be a better way. Those motorcyclists are definitely friends of the Dreadlock Cowboy. Shame on him for abusing his horse this way!

There are statues that state you are able to ride a horse freely, it is animal cruelty in the law book that states blowing your horns, turning on sirens, and trying to run the horse off the rode. Update: 'May 21, 2023' 'A man known as "the Dreadhead Cowboy" was arrested on Thursday evening in Hammond, Indiana for elbowing a police officer after being told he couldn't have or ride his horse within city limits, officials said.

Adam Hollingsworth was seen riding his horse drown the street on Thursday in the 7000 block of Indianapolis, Hammond police said. Police said they have told Hollingsworth many times that he cannot have or ride his horse in Hammond.

When Hollingsworth tried to get on his horse again, police tried to stop him. That's when Hollingsworth threw an elbow, hitting one of the officers.

Hollingsworth was arrested for battery of a police officer, resisting law enforcement, and disorderly conduct, police said.'

I’m in equestrian, what I just witnessed could’ve killed that horse because of the moving vehicles down, the ground was paved with asphalt. I have never seen such animal abuse. I hope this guy is never allowed on a horse and he’s protesting, saying kids lives matter. I’ll tell you some horses, dogs, kitties, wild animals. All animals and children are helpless … This is no way to abuse a horse to save a kid. PS hope he got jail time.

Is the Dan Ryan an interstate? If not, then is there a specific law for bidding horses on highways?

You know I seen another video about this guy getting pulled over on a side street or a small Street and I was sticking up for the guy on the horse but watching this that guy's totally out of line I feel sorry for the horse cuz I don't think it should be having to be put through all that what he's doing with the horse the law says he's not supposed to be on the expressway with the horse because in the other video all the laws were red and it said right out that he's not supposed to ride a horse on an expressway and he needs to be dealt with and as far as I'm concerned he's being cruel to his animal
