This channel is very informative but I can't find any mention or warning about products for dark skin in your recommendations/ videos. Are products like retinol and tretinoin safe to use on dark skin?

Hey. Would you mind doing a little video about what is a good alternative to vitamin c serums or creams. I break out in either cold sores or rash when I use it (loreal vitamin c serum) and I'm scared to use something else incase it comes back.

What ever happened to the vitamin deep dive? Someone needs to address SkinCeuticals vitamin C dominance. Is it worth it? Is it any better than mid range price-point products.

I think good cleaning wash and use of good moisturizer and feeding on good balanced food with fresh fruits and vegetables and seeds give good results instead of wasting so much money on expensive products for a few minutes change of glow and freshness. 😢

Am the only 70 year old that has oily skin? I use soap (Dove),water and Neutrogena Retinol. I have very few wrinkles but I do have bags under my eyes and have a double chin(bad surgery on my neck) and my jowls are going south. I totally overwhelmed by all the products I seem to need. Can skincare be a little more simple? Love your channel.

Love the content. I use or have used most things mentioned and they definitely help keep mature skin looking youthful. I’ve been using retinol and exfoliating for years. Magic ps could you explore and explain Granuloma Anulare. There doesn’t seem to be much content on it. Many people may have it and not know it. I have it on my hand and doc thought it was fungus but I know it’s not since antifungal didn’t even budge it

I just came across this video when researching The Ordinary products. I downloaded the Mature Skin Routine you provided and have more questions because of risks associated with using acids, peptides and retinoids in a routine. I appreciate the breakdown of the recommended use of retinol and exfoliant. The Ordinary states that some of their products should not be combined with others so I feel like I I hit so many obstacles when trying to build a The Ordinary regimen or mixing other brands with similar ingredients. In step #2 Treat, could Peptides be used with retinoids and exfoliants, or in place of? In step #3 Protect, does the Vitamin C or Copper Peptides replace the moisturizer or applied between the moisturizer and SPF?
I have also been looking at Khus+Khus and wondering if you have any opinions their D Drop and C Drops and any other holistic brands such as Farm to Face, Josie Maran, etc., when it comes to efficacy to mature skincare?

I've started with cerave cleanser and moisturiser plus I'm using Tret. My skin looks its best ever. Excited to see future results of the tret. I can tolerate alternate days , so far no irritation ❤

Someone please guide me, I have been trying to curate an effective skincare routine for months and I think i finally have it!!! Using the Cos Rx all in one cream or Weleda skinfood light for moisturizer...but should I use at night only or in the a.m. as well? Thanks so much!

I'm 61 and have very oily skin. Should I use products for oily skin? I've been using combination products, but the level of oil on my face can be embarrassing.

I actually appear to be much younger than 61 fyi, probably because of my oily complexion?

I love this video. You guys are awesome. Could you do a video specifically for aging lips...how to reduce vertical lines and any plumping otc products that you recommend, short of doing fillers & injections? Or are topical plumpers all hype? There don't seem to be any options for us needle-phobes. Would greatly appreciate your expertise on this.

!!BRA-FRICKING-VO!! SERIOUSLY- B R A F R I C K I N G V O!!

In 4 months I turn 60....and in the past few years I have experienced every single change in my skin that was mentioned in the vid...to the point that I rarely recognize the reflection in the mirror .....Its truly terrifying how quickly it all changes...

And now, after having been a huge fan and follower of your two gorgeous experts in your field, I feel confident that I have an excellent plan of attack as well valued and trusted recommendations that is targeted just for ME!

Thank you for being our partners in skincare- and THANK YOU for including the gigantic demographic of people like me -who have been in a panic of despair, not knowing what to do, nor how to slow down the aging process.....♥

WORD OF ADVICE TO EVERYONE OF A YOUNGER AGE!! DO ALL OF THE STUFF NOW and DONT STOP!

*and as your elder, I remind you to hydrate and wear your zinc sunscreen...EVERY DAY- not just on the sunny days.

Do Occlusive or Barrier Moisturizers block Retinol or other actives from penetrating through IT? Another Dermatologist mentioned using a layer of moisturizer prior to applying OTC .3% Retinol(not tretinoin) to prevent potential irritation. No mention of blocking actives though. The internet BOTS have been unable to answer that question. So...going to the professionals.

Can the doctors or anyone tell me why every essence, and most serums remain TACKY/STICKY on my face? Barrier moisturizers with Ceramides and ANYTHING CONTAINING CERAMIDES...also super sticky. The only moisturizer that doesn't remain sticky is Moisturizers containing Snail Mucin. Those don't remain tacky. Am I supposed to wait 5-10 mts between application of each ingredient then? That would a helluva lot of time to my routine. I do wait about a minute between layers.
