Never underestimate the power of the Laws of Nature. They favor Balance in the interactions of all things & re-enforces itself. Those who seek to screw around with the Balance tend to wind up with a messy end.
This is why Druids are True Neutral.
“New legendary creatures”
shows legendary Pokémon
:D
Perfect example of how you can beat the baddy without violence. That's what I'm trying to teach my kids when we play. There's usually more than one solution to a problem

ОтветитьHow A DM In A Modern Campaign Proved Everyone At The Table He Can Make A Druid's Role Significant
Seriously, would you buy that the DM forgot about including this cool teleportation spell in the list after it had been used previously in the game?
And people thought I was cray for talking to trees as if they were people. No joke. I actually did that when I was younger and, at one point, even considered a tree to be one of my closest friends. Well, I just hope that my friendship with trees earns me their favor and aid if I ever find myself in a situation like this.
ОтветитьExpecting: Natures ornery wrath.
Received: A hummingbird saboteur.
Somehow, this was better.
Note to self, dont delve back into the comment section and replies.... .might and end up drinking again. Or silently move on, and don't care. I really chose option 2 more.
ОтветитьIt's too bad that in real life the environmentalists are allied with big tech conglomerates. 😛
ОтветитьNo one suspects the druid. NO ONE.
ОтветитьI want to say (as a longtime DM) that my suspicion is that the DM put the bonsai trees in each room totally on purpose. He KNEW what the druid could do with Tree Stride.
He just acted surprised to let the belittled player have his big big moment. I think we are in the presence of a great DM letting a Great player and a really cool party have the time of their lives.
Don't mess with the druid, no matter what age... You never know when they'll awaken a Kaiju.
... That said, the one thing I'm always disappointed in with Druids is that them eschewing technology is to the detriment of nature. Something as simple as a sprinkler system could save a forest from drought.
Additionally, bio-engineering as a fashion statement in a high tech society is something that fascinates me; and that seems to be ironically something druids are most capable of, but most fundamentally opposed to.
... Imagine a high tech city populated primarily by awakened animals, who insist on using Bards with the Awaken spell to increase their numbers because every time they try to hire druids to do the same job, the druid yell at them in disgust for all their flashy metal tools.
That druid wouldn’t be out of place as Shaman in Shadowrun though.
ОтветитьTree stride...”Both trees must be living and at least the same size as you.”...
ОтветитьThe DM is the real mvp, he perfectly pretended he didn't put the bonsais there on purpose so the rest of the team wouldn't cry favoritism xD
just from hearing it i can tell he won an emmy that night.
When the Phantom Thieves' ultimate calling card is used for pro entertainment purposes...
And the desired outcome plays out.
I'm guessing they aren't going to be having that convention. Thanks 2020
ОтветитьOH NO THE MATT MERCER EFFECT IS TACKING OVER SOON IT WILL BE A PANDEMIC
Ответить"Halloween weekend" 2020 I'm not sure but I imagine that was probably canceled by the kung flu, oof
ОтветитьThis animation is not smooth, It feels so choppy!
ОтветитьNever heard of a campaign like that, flippin’ sweet.
ОтветитьIf only the world worked that way
ОтветитьI had an idea for a wildfire druid on these lines
ОтветитьAlso thought of an urban moon druid - focused on small nature in the city, turn into pigeons or rats for scouting, large dogs for fighting
ОтветитьThe Nerdarchy logo looks like the BORDERLANDS Vault symbol
ОтветитьThat is freaking awesome, as a 20th level druid I think he should of had polymorph, that would be great for battle, or infiltration. If not then he can use wildshape
ОтветитьGiven time and opportunity, nature triumphs over all.
ОтветитьMr Miyagi you've done it again
ОтветитьReminds me of the end of XCOM 2
ОтветитьAnd that’s why I’m multi-classing as a Druid. For one spell. Ps: characters is a Firbolg Monk and tree stride would make her character complete.
ОтветитьDude... a lvl 20 Druid is a god. Unlimited wild shapes, self-healing, and spell casting in animal forms.
ОтветитьNow I wanna see a cyberpunk style DND campaign. Anyone else?
ОтветитьImpressive.
ОтветитьSTOP PLAYING AS RELIGIOUS LEADERS IN GAMES
ОтветитьI am the Druid AND I SPEAK FOR THE TREES!!!
ОтветитьWhere do I send a story I have?
ОтветитьHacker man
ОтветитьUnless your in space in a totally artifically made biome. You ALWAYS FEAR THE DRUID! for they speak with and for the land. and most often the elements of the world only want us mortals to F OFF AND GO AWAY.
ОтветитьThis makes me think of a potential dematers wrath game in a modern setting
ОтветитьAs soon as he asked out of character how many feet are in a story I would have been like "Holy shit. What are you planning???" That's fucking wild though.
ОтветитьI want to DM or play this.
Ответитьdrink every time he says conglomerate .
ОтветитьGood on you for sticking with your vision for your character
ОтветитьThe narrator's voice is incredibly obnoxious.
ОтветитьWho cares about tree strid so let's not put work in nullify thst spell it wont ever come back to bite us
ОтветитьThat's a cool story but you can only wildshape 2 times
ОтветитьWhen I played druid my party and I were able to beat the final boss because I casted moon beam and the worlock just kept pushing him into the moonbeam for extra damage we didnt even have to leave the stairs at the entrance
