In my early 60’s, decades go fast, before ya know 10 years is gone by. I discovered thru the various seasons that we must stay vigilant. Now, for me at this time there’s more to deal with, it’s different being older, sure I can continue doing what I love but also it’s now what, life feels shortened, and dealing with age discrimination puts a new twist on life. Always a learning process and mountains to move. Be prepared always for the next chapter.

Hold me accountable..its december 7, 2023 at my rock bottom. I will rebuild my life and come back as a software engineer before 2026. I have 4 kids that live with my parents. My family believes in me.

There is a simple method i use. I say I am not a slave of my mind. Our mind is scared to try new things. It doesn't like the things which makes it work harder. I say I am the one in control and I will say "NO TO MY MIND". I've written this quote called learn to say no! Anything that comes up in your mind stop and think is this gonna help me in any way in achieving my goal. If it's not, say NO. Force yourself to go that extra miles because that's what really counts! These small pushes you'll do everyday will soon become your reality and you'll slowly lose all those bad unproductive habits.

This is for when you are going all throttle. Cuz i make myself do anything but study.
Learning to say no to yourself brought me good results so wanted to share.

Consistency

I walk through life doing the bare minimum. Just barely holding on, hanging by a thread. I started university, and it wasn't what I expected. I moved away from my family to a different continent to study for a degree I don't even know if I really want, and it feels so isolating. I told myself these 4years of suffering would end as quickly as it started, and I would be able to provide a new beginning for my parents. But I feel so alone. So isolated. and so envious of my friends who are surrounded by people and have the motivation to work towards their future even if they are burned out.

That's means late nights sleeplessness but also that means sleepless nights hell I don't even care about my own health the only thing I really care about is success and that's it my girlfriend already left me I than lost job after job failed time after time I am a fighter not a quitter once my girlfriend comes back she will regret what she did to me eat her words I will still take care of her I will put that to the side and do it out of love and that's because I still love her with all of my heart that's exactly right I sure am I ain't going to sit here and lie I am that way
