This didnt get nominated but Emilia Perez sure did
ОтветитьVampirism in Brahm Stokers Dracula is supposedly a study of and commentary on sexuality and veneral disease at the time of the writing, so why wouldn't the vampirism be very sexual?
ОтветитьI love how you and no one else that lives today just happens to know how the world was all misogyny then.
ОтветитьNosferatu vogueing though ❤
ОтветитьThose were trained wolves not Shepards
ОтветитьThat's one hell of a coincidence actually made me think of Mickey's Christmas Carol when Thomas showed up late for work LOL
ОтветитьIt's pronounced "Dah-chya" -Dacia/Dacians
Ответитьit absolutely deserves so many awards but unfortunately it’s extremely rare that horror is recognized in the academy 😔
ОтветитьWhy not just get Defoe to grow a tash and you’ve got orlock as per bill skarsgard with 8 hours of makeup
ОтветитьThat was a fantastic break down of the film. Even though I have seen it three times I learned alot from you. But when you threw your mustache and said "Back to the castle" I lost it! Just about fell off the couch laughing. You crack me up. Naughty references to stroking cats and all. Smashed that subscription button immediately. Till next time sent with love from Oregon.❤
ОтветитьBTW, the language of the contract that Hutter signs isnt old Romanian, it is the occultist language of Enochian.
ОтветитьEggers' movie may give a nod to expressionism but its more based in German Romanticism which was the worldview when Nosferatu was based
ОтветитьDid you shave a cat for that mustache
ОтветитьAh vampire hitler
ОтветитьDuuu hassst duuuh asst
ОтветитьDu hassst mich
ОтветитьVampire till lindeman
ОтветитьVampire yuri boyka
ОтветитьAh kraven
ОтветитьLooks like kraven from comic
ОтветитьRubbish movie
ОтветитьKinda funny and silly
ОтветитьHe looked like Dr robotic from sonic absolute disservice of the original film they could’ve done so much with how we looked
ОтветитьOh, Johnny Depp's daughter is in this? I had no idea!
ОтветитьThis is the best breakdown of "Nosferatu" I've seen! Thanks! :)))
ОтветитьNot a "member video"
ОтветитьAs a person who has opened a packet of Digestive biscuits, i can understand Orlok's inability to stop himself.
ОтветитьFor some reason the part where she asks her husband why he killed those flowers makes me laugh a little. Then she's like, "Nothing,. didn't say anything." Something so manic and insane about it. But I get why she's saying it. The delivery is just funny for some reason to me 🫢
ОтветитьAm I the only one in the comments that didn't like the movie?
Ответитьlol
ОтветитьWhen will they learn don’t stray too far from the original. Nosfetatu DID NOT HAVE A MUSTACHE
ОтветитьMy interpretation was that Noferatu drank plaque ridden blood. i thought it was implied that the sun didnt affect him
ОтветитьSpoiler fr 😂
ОтветитьThat modern nonsense about the partriarchy prevents you from gaining a good grasp and understanding the era. Other than that, very thorough analysis.
Psychology and psychiatry was nonexistent, and the movie highlights the schism between the rational, scientific view of the world, and how it makes us blind to the supernatural, with which we are all connected. Basically it's a movie about how our modern worldview makes us blind for what's really going on, thus allowing demons to run wild.
I just started reading the book BS's Dracula and it's crazy how much Nosferatu copied. I'm only in chapter 3 and it is beat for beat the same
ОтветитьThis movie has been remade numerous times. You basically know the plot and it gets boring. Maybe the cinematography is good ... but the bare basic of a good movie like an interesting plot is missing. Is the bar set so low on the Hollywood movies these days?
ОтветитьBram stokers Dracula with Keaneu reeves is a 10. Nostarafu gets a 6. Bram stokers Dracula blew this movie away. Nostarafu had way too much CGI, plus a CGI generated Dracula was pretty cheesy. I’ll never watch it again but I’ll watch Bram stokers once every five to ten years because it’s a classic. To be honest I’m not that impressed with this movie, the story drag, there was little suspense, Draculas voice was cheesy and the again the CGI made it not very realistic. 👎
ОтветитьThis movie certified trash
ОтветитьOn the transport of homeland soil, you missed a gold n opportunity to edit in Johnny Depp sing-song line, "I've gotta jar o' dii-iirrt!!!"
ОтветитьThis movie, although not worthy in the category of “best actor” by any means, still presented a brilliant somewhat nod to the old silent movies and the original “Nosterafu”. And I actually like Lily Rose Depp. Her character approach always seems natural and not dramatic. The direction, costumes, sound design, all stellar IMO.
ОтветитьFinally watched this last night, weird as all hell! I loved it 😂
ОтветитьYou missed the crossroads reference. The carriage picked him up at the crossroads.
ОтветитьThis 100% amazing movie. By far.
ОтветитьMy wife found it really boring. I enjoyed but it’s slow as hell so if you don’t like a slow burn this movie isn’t for you. She also found the German odd - she knows German and laughed out load when they pronounced the “K” in Herr Knock
ОтветитьThe movie was great, it was truly amazing besides all the s*** stuff they made s** seem absolutely disgusting and super discomforting. Which is the point i guess, it just went too fair in some points. If I weren’t to count all the weird s** stuff - it’d be a 20/10. As it stands its probably a 8/10. FYI You can’t watch this with anyone other than your wife, or by yourself, which im tired of. Theres too much s** in hollywood.
ОтветитьNosferatu even showed up in "american dad" as stan-feratu 😂 a dream version of stan
Ответить
