You don’t know what sort of a service you’re doing for the community, the more the better. I love your insights and watch everything you put out. It looks like NIO Power is going to become THE entity for EVs for charging.
I have not invested in Xpeng yet. I'm open minded, but there is a limit of how much exposure I can let myself have to one sector. ( ...a limit I am WAY over already with NIO)

ОтветитьThe Q3 deliveries has been 8k...no? think the support from Alibaba is one of the strongest strenghs Xpeng has. In another hand, a possible fusion with NIO would make a monster in the ev chinese market, using NIO customer service, quality and innovation and covering lower cost vehicles from Xpeng with the experience Alibaba has in different sectors. That would seem like a future giant dificult to beat. Thanks for you always great opinion.

ОтветитьI think the market is big enough for XPeng. I Hope they improve on quality in the future. They Could be the Xiaomi of EV. I don’t like the fact that they copied Tesla’s auto pilot software. Not cool. But that won’t do them any good bc Tesla has completely rewrote their autopilot program.

ОтветитьI´ve got both Nio and Xpeng, but you we´re indeed the reason I bought and understood Nio, I bought them both because I´m a 100% China investor and giga optimistic ofc for EV´s but also for the Chinese economy.

ОтветитьThanks for your excellent update! There is one distinct advantage / disadvantage for XPEV stocks. It is because the volume is relatively much smaller and the stock price can be manipulation easily. I still maintain the position of investing in TSLA and NIO only.

ОтветитьIf only I'd seen your channel and all the other TESLA ones in March (instead of the Gold bugs). Nio is a nice also ran (I bought in at $17), but TESLA seems like it's gonna dominate. If there's another serious market crash I'll buy heavily into them, but until then I think I've missed the boat at $400 plus. Will have to keep scrabbling around the edges for the time being. I really wanna buy Xpeng cos I love the look of the P7 and it has reviewed very well online, but you've done a lot more digging than me, so I'll wait for your judgement on when it becomes a viable investment.

What would happen if somebody succeeds to develop a self charging car? is this even viable or possible. If somebody can succeed in this then Tesla and Nio BAAS will be finished?? Should I worry about this type of technology??? I presently have $11k invested in Nio at $15 each average

Excellent. I had 6,500 shares of XPEV, let them go day of the large 10% jump, and bought into both TSLA and NIO with the profits. I will continue to add to NIO and TSLA, but keep an eye out for a better entry point on XPEV. Thanks for the video. Keeping large positions in both EV's.

You can’t look at XPEV from a Nio point of view. I am an investor into both but slowly taking money out of Nio. Look up on the Chinese Little Red Book, most of the P7 buyers are young girls, cuz they buy the look. Nio buyers are more like family oriented. So a lot of people complaining P7’s back seats don’t really matter with the real buyers cuz they don’t have rear passengers that often. The G3 was initially made by the 3rd party manufacturer, which kinda sucked to be honest, I think they made a mistake there. You can see they started building and using their own high end factory. Nio started selling their ES8 to police and governments, I thought they would be for high end officials but instead for basic government needs, that are painted in ugly colours. It will eventually drive down their luxury sense and it also means that they couldn’t drive up real consumer demands anymore. In the end, both companies are targeting different generations, but I think the Nio targeted generations are more looking to upgrade existing vehicles where Xpeng customers were mostly buying their 1st car or 2nd; these customers were born from the digital age, and are definitely not like you and me. Thus if u understand Nio well, u may not understand Xpeng but it may surprise you, just like how BILI performs in China

ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts on Volkswagen having major stake on JAC? They upped it to over 75% and will leverage their push into Chinese market. Will NIO have their own factory or other back up plan? If their output is limited, it’s hard to grow. Volkswagen will not like their luxury brands Audi and Porsche EVs having growing competition. Any thoughts?

NIO is the fiercest and closest competitor to Tesla and valued 20 times less, with full capacity of 300 000 cars, often considered the minimum for car producing, NIO has great potential, without mentioning strong backing state or private, a performing ecosystem and good quality, oder?

ОтветитьXpeng announced this 20th october that they built the 10000th P7... since as of 30th september 2020 they had delivered 6535 P7, that means there is a high chance they will deliver around 3500-4000 P7 and you can add also G3 deliveries... october would be a major record deliveries for Xpeng with around 4500-5000 cars. Contrary to NIO, XPeng has it's own factory !
