Buffalo Battle! || Buffalo Trace Bourbon 40% VS 45%

Is the Buffalo Trace Bourbon at 40% really different to the version at 45%? Let’s find out!
Last week, we reviewed the Buffalo Trace Bourbon, and while we thought it was a nice, everyday drinker of a bourbon, I wondered if that was because the version they sell in Ireland comes in at 40% ABV, and if the 45% ABV version would be very different.

Well, I was able to find a few bottles of the “baby buffalo”, as it’s nicknamed in Ireland, as it only comes in the small bottles, but it is at the full proof of 45%! So, this week, we’re putting the 80 Proof Buffalo Trace against the 90 Proof Buffalo Trace, to see if there’s a difference, and if so, how big is the difference!
