Yugioh WaveRunner IRL❤
ОтветитьLoose the pedals, fix the weird handle bars, shorten the body and make it street legal.
Ответить:00
ОтветитьLove it!
Ответить'What we have is a Generator Chain Drive, or GCD', no my friend what you have is a buzzword salad, and all of it just to call it a bicycle instead of a motorcycle, which comes with different set of regulations.
I have a long wheel base recumbent, and even by my standards this looks beyond dorky.
Low center of gravity is actually harder to control - its the same as balancing a stick - longer/taller is easy.
If I ever win the lottery, I'll get 5 of them!
ОтветитьThey should do an akira bike remake limited edition
ОтветитьI'm just loving e v e r y t h i n g
in this video.............. The electrom vehicle, design, features, look, concept and the professional coolio presentation..
Thinking of geting one!
Yeah, I would buy one for a grand.
ОтветитьVery cool concept, however, electric unicycles are still way ahead in term of simplicity, price and weight, i have a Veteran Sherman-S euc that also have a 200km range with 3600wh battery, top speed up to 80 km/h, weights only 97lbs, it's so small that you can fit in any car trunk (i have a Smart Fortwo), it can fully charge in about two hours and cost about 4000$ US
Of course it doesnt have huge trunk or wind protection but its so fun to ride !
I'd recommend you do a piece on Gogoro in Taiwan and their eScooters and their battery subscription plans and battery swap service.
ОтветитьLove it and I don't think it is extremely expensive for what it is 👍 but certainly too much to appeal the greater public.
Unfortunately, with about 150 pounds / 70 kg it seems to be too heavy to be solely muscle powered uphill (with my non-electrified recumbents and velomobiles I get farther than that per day, up to about 300 km).
Very impressive. But I think it's great that you own it and don't hide it. That's why you're one of the best! Oh my God, It's amazing what you can achieve. Love everything you did with it. Glad you're back, love the videos Looks really nice compared to the original versions
ОтветитьI have always liked this layout, but you need a front swingarm to make it look more normal/attractive. The design of this one looks ugly unfortunately.
ОтветитьVery OLD DESIGN.. But lovely modern rendition .
I would like 4 wheels a shorter base and cargo
The Electrom is impractical and unsafe. For secure storage, you really need to live in a house with a garage. Most condos or apartments don’t have street-level storage for such a long bike. It’s also too heavy for stairs. If you use the Electrom to shop or go to work, you’re restricted to street parking. It’s too big to bring into your workplace or store. Even with a strong lock, I wouldn’t leave a $12,000 bike un-attended for several hours.
The cover or fairing is a safety hazard because it’s at head level. In a collision or sudden stop, your face or throat will likely hit the edge of the fairing. With a conventional bike, the same situation will cause a endo. An endo may injure the rider, but it will be much less severe than the fairing hitting your face or throat. Has Electrom done any collision testing with the fairing?
The fairing’s aero advantage is not important because most conventional e-bike can easily reach the 45km/h limit in USA & Canada. The fairing also doesn’t provide any rain protection. The fairing is gimmicky without any real benefit.
Excellent if you have a decent cycling infrastructure but not something for the city - poor low speed manoeuvring, rear view visibility and head-to-front perspective (think oversized bonnet). I should know, I built and rode one of my own. The Electron One is as good as it gets but flawed and $12k asking price isn't going to win many cyclists, let alone drivers, over.
ОтветитьTell me again what this does better than a conventional e-bike? I mean it is a nice design and intriguing in many ways, but you can get a normal e-bike that does everything this does, only weighs 40 lb. and will cost about a 10th as much. If you need more range on a conventional e-bike you could simply add another battery. Biggest drawback to this is it's absolutely enormous, yet still can only carry one person. Couldn't the wheelbase at least be shorter? Conventional bikes you can carry up flights of stairs, get in an elevator, store in a hallway, put four of them on a car bike rack etc etc etc.
ОтветитьI would buy this if it were available in Europe for max 4.000 EUR
ОтветитьWebsite of producer?
ОтветитьLove the concept though and the reporting was spot on
ОтветитьI agree with just about everything in this video except the price. I build and will be releasing a similar vehicle with a gyroscope/flywheel in it that will cost far less.
ОтветитьNot keen on the steering
ОтветитьIn the EU this is not considered an e-bike, so you definitely need an insurance and a license plate.
ОтветитьLike other e-vehicles, this is an e motorcycle, it has no place on bike paths, as seen in this video. How would pedestrians feel about sharing a path with things like this, shoving them aside and frightening them as it roars by at high speed…. with their strollers, their children, their dogs…. it’s a pure road vehicle…
ОтветитьIt's all fun and games until a minor collision shoves you forward and that odd fairing cuts your head off😂
ОтветитьCrash and that front fairing will chop off your head ..
ОтветитьBleh. Another expensive machine that no-one will buy. Where are you going to park this monstrosity and all of the plastics look expensive, whereas the fork and other parts look like lower shelf Chinese junk, especially the forks. For the price you could buy a lot of better machines with better parts.
ОтветитьSHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
ОтветитьDo a road trip with it
ОтветитьThis is the direction e-motorcycles need to go. Too cool.
ОтветитьFabrizio, good to see you have got this project to the production model. That is seems so obvious to many is a very good sign. I'm certain that other cities in North America will quickly adopt infrastructure that will make this a viable product for many more people.
ОтветитьPiaggio MP3 leaves this for dead. People need to do a few weeks of research before inventing something that is worse than existing products.
ОтветитьThanks for selling a Vancouver based project... And Ryan at F9 did it a lot better.
ОтветитьI would rename it "The Guillotine".
ОтветитьWhy not take out the chain altogether?
ОтветитьLove to see more and more brands supporting our "Right to repair"! 💪🙏
ОтветитьOne thing I noticed straight away, what happens to the rider in a crash? That windscreen looks like neck height and has potentially nasty consequences in an accident.
ОтветитьI see this as more of a novel way to travel to remote places in the countryside (20-150km). There will be people that do this a lot and for those, thats an awesome EV! Hope it'll sell ;)
ОтветитьThe price isn't even that insane for the stage it is at. Way out of my price range still, but if it starts to compete with other recumbent e-bikes, this will definitely the winner!
ОтветитьSo, there is still no winner of your giveaway?
ОтветитьInteresting but indulgent. Crazy cost. Size and manoeuvrability an issue in built up areas. Comparison with sports motorcycle is ludicrous. A city cycle with 200km range. Come on, where has your objectivity gone?
ОтветитьI can't wrap my head around why it only has 2 wheels? Since it is so wide anyway why not just make it 3 wheels and make life easier
Ответитьwhat a beauty
ОтветитьThe future also of a mortal whiplash.. If hit from behind..
ОтветитьWe're getting ever closer to a car lol...
ОтветитьMotorcycle? More like an electric moped.
ОтветитьI would pay $6000.
ОтветитьI know you said there is a learning curve of a few hours and you certainly looked like you were on pins and needles while you rode it. Personally, to me at least, it looks like an accident waiting to happen. It needs to be shorter and not so ungainly looking. Cut about 18 inches off the length and they might have something worth looking into. Everything about that weird looking recumbant looks like a crash is about to happen.
ОтветитьNeat. So if you keep pedaling are you recharging the battery at all or is is just used to get more power and speed from the motor?
Ответить
