Fort Walker Redesignation Ceremony

Fort A.P. Hill will be officially redesignated Fort Walker in honor of Dr. Mary E. Walker, who treated wounded Union Soldiers at field hospitals during the Civil War and became the only woman to ever receive the Medal of Honor.

The redesignation ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. (EDT).
