Which Razor is Best? | Cartridge Vs Electric Vs Straight Vs Safety Vs Disposable Razors

I use disposable but be warned that there are quality control issues depending on the brand.
If you find a good brand, stick with it.
I have used electric with good results but I found the sound anoying. Perhaps because I have some ADHD traits I found the sound interfering with my thought processes. I used electric for maybe 3 years and I am now in my 70s.

I just bought the safest safety razor model the Henson company it barley has any blade poking out so it’s much safer and provides one of the best shaves I’ve ever had super close shave it takes a bit more time to shave but you can get basically almost baby smooth every time

I just tried my first dry shave with my Philip's electric wet dry electric razor and was very pleasantly suprised.
Took the advice of washing and drying my face and putting on some pre shave cream and leaving it for five minutes and then shaving and applying nivia aftershave and while it's not as good as the safety razor it is as good as the mach3 and no irritation very good for when your in a hurry.

I can't see the point of disposable razors and i can shave with the safety razor as quickly as i could with the catrage razor with no ittitation and a better shave infact I'd say perfect shave.

Well i haven't tried the straight razor yet and i don't want to be unfair but i think its safe to say the electric shaver's the worst the mach3 is a good enought razor but in my oppinion two blades were enought, but for me so far the best shave is with the double edged or safety razor

I use gellet fusion 5 and on my first shave with it I accidentally cut my skin but it is so convenient and comfortable and cheep for razors

What’s a good quality straight razor brand?

the lest blades the better the shave, the more blades the more iritation on your skin.
This is what people gett wrong even this guy he says More blades= the more they cut- logical right?
if the first blade dose not cut the hair, the secound one wont, might be cause your face is not 100% even a small bump making it so the razer cant get it and it ends up "pulling" or ripping at it making the skin, your hair sac iretated.= red.

Shaved face I think it more professional look that leave types of beard

I've used a Braun Electric Razor for more than 20 years. Used cartridge prior to that.

Harry's is the best

Have a norelco rotary razer flexible head 30 years old same battery it came with. Replace the blades about a year doing the touch up on the blades to sharpen get several more months on them after the third sharpening the foils start to wear through need to replace the whole cutter assembly tried foil types but foils don't blast 4 months wear through ouch on your face expensive ti repair have to order them as no one carrys replacement heads for foil shavers

Been using cartridge for years and yeah disposables are worthless. But now I'm looking into using a straight razor. I got one with changeable blades. It's some technique to use, but its also very fast at clearing up the armpits and the rest of the body.

I used all types. Straight Razor : is a Ferrari but dificult to learn. Soon or late you will have a painfull accident. Safety Razor is a BMW easy to learn and it do the job nice and well. Cartiges : is a twingo, it do the job but you cannot demand a lot. Electrical razor is a Ford Focus. It do the job nice and well if your technique is ok (yes it needs technique) and is the safest option to your skin. For a normal man I can say use the electric razor every day and the weekends use a safety razor to reset the skin (éliminante the old cellules). The straight (Ferrari) is not for everybody and we dont have time or realtime situations to learn that, unless you are james bond 007 and you want to impress a girl with a ferrari and a little bit of blod. The best safety razors are from Germany and USA. The best shaving soaps are from France.

gay af. i just "shave" (trim my beard) with a hair cipper to 0. takes me about 30 seconds and NO water or ingrown hairs/ick EVER
and you dotn look emasculated!!
