I think you misinterpreted Bakugo's character a little wrong. I agree that he can care for Deku, but at this point, he's far too stubborn to admit it or do anything about it.

Even when UA first began, he was hellbent on destroying Izuku during their first official training exercise.

He also did not thank Izuku for attempting to save him from the sludge villain. Even if Izuku were to succeed on his own by some miracle, the same result would happen (except a little worse since he'd probably be more in disbelief about Deku managing to stop the villain).

Bakugo is at the height of his anger and stubbornness toward Izuku in middle school, I don't see any way he'd have so much development in such a short time span.

Of course, Bakugo being forced to confront his insecurities by having his future self say it during his street fight with Deku or during his apology is a good way to do it, but I don't see this version of Katsuki developing otherwise.

Anyways, I acknowledge that this is an old video, I'm just giving my criticism, not trying to be rude :D
