Apparently there are 2 different windscreen sizes. Short and long. Which one was this one? Also how tall are you? I am 6'2" so height may affect wind noise.
ОтветитьNothing to prove is trying to prove the R1250GS MAX speed? Interesting
ОтветитьI have 1 year and 4500km of riding experience on my 125 and watching you cruising at 160 with one hand and the other one gesturing wildly made me nervous ngl😄
ОтветитьSweet bike! Considering the same setup as my 3rd horse in the stable; would compliment my tourer and sport-cruiser. Keep up the great work on the channel; am learning a lot!
ОтветитьMy 1986 Suzuki RG 500 Gamma did 235 KPH and it was only a 500 and that was 38 years ago. Why would I care how fast any of my BMW GSes are?
ОтветитьFirst off thank you for showing off the top speed. I would have received a ticket or jail time in the States. I have the 2021 R1250RT with premium package that does included linked braking on the front brake lever that engages both front and rear brakes? Does the 24' R1300GS come with linked braking? Thanks for the videos.
ОтветитьHow is the vibrations at high speed vs the R1250 RS
ОтветитьThis is so masculine!
But wait...40 years ago 100HP-bikes achieved the same top speed. "Downspeeding" is the new progress?
How does it compare on the highway to your RT?
Ответить최고속이 매우느리다
Ответить230mph is ridiculous. I did 190mph in my Viper many years ago and thought that was nuts!
ОтветитьImagine getting the ECU flashed, airbox/filter work and possibly exhaust. Thing wild be a beast. This thing is so bogged down it would blow your mind.
ОтветитьIf you're buying this bike for top speed, then you're buying the wrong bike.
ОтветитьGreat video but it’s making me think twice about buying a demo 😂
ОтветитьMotocicletas big-trails não foram concebidas para altas velocidades finais, elas são pensadas para poderosos torques em médias performances e pra manter uma velocidade de cruzeiro pra percorrer longas distâncias com conforto e segurança. Quem quer velocidade deve procurar as motos tetracilindricas esportivas...
ОтветитьThanks for sharing and braving the wet to test the top end. Probably should have waited for a nice day. I believe my R1250RS can do about the same. I saw the channel “MotoTop” get the 1250 up to 234km/h (146mph) on the Autobahn. So performance wise this new engine doesn’t seem all that more powerful than the 1250. However, I want that Active Cruise on my RS. That’s a game changer for those highway rides.
ОтветитьWell this ride in rain is against the name of your channel :)
ОтветитьI like the helmet, large view, which helmet is it? Thanks
ОтветитьThat's insane speed for that type of bike
ОтветитьHi Scott, how’s the overall comfort compared to your RT? 👍🏻
Ответитьim selling all my bikes for this..ive been waiting for a long time for this bike.
ОтветитьNice speed 4 this kind of bike .... About same as the Trace 7....
ОтветитьNice video.
My 2019 Super Tenere ES is the same way on the highway.
I can cruise all day long at 200KPM (124MPH).
Perfectly stable, I can ride at that speed with my visor up and no glasses cause I have a perfect bubble of no air in front of me.
You don't notice any wind around you even if a semi goes by.
Ride safe.
Cool
ОтветитьWhat was the fuel consumption like at 160 kmh with cruise control?
ОтветитьGreat bit of stable video, what camera do you use?
ОтветитьNot that it is that important for someone that lives in Oz, as if caught doing 160kph over here it is on the spot impounding of vehicle and 6 months walking, but I would be very interested in knowing the fuel consumption when cruising at 160. Bike will have an instant readout, though you might need to take it out again.
ОтветитьOutstanding Scott! Thank you!
Ответитьwhat mic you have?perfect sound!
ОтветитьHad a 2007 1200GS. SWISS ARMY KNIFE or motorcycles..in 2007 i purchased it and as my only form of transportation. Had it from 2007-2009, rode 44,000 miles and had a trip out west.
Great bike. I now own a 2022 900XR..LOVE IT, PERFECT for me.
Smooth, quick and stable, that’s what we want to hear. But, could you please whisper more about that gearbox; does this Boxer really have a state of the art quick-shifter?
ОтветитьI’m a 1.86 guy. Do you think I should get the regular or high seat? And how will that be with the wind noise?
Can you play a bit with seat height like in previous models?
Thanks
Wow, Scott, incredible! Nice occupation, motovlogger! ;-)
ОтветитьWow, they really have progressively slowed each model down. 230 is a lot slower than 15years ago.
And BMW doesn't state a top speed, they just say 200+
Great videos. Would love to see GPS top speed.
Probably 1300 "steals" even less than the other GSes (which were already not stealing much).
Nice video 👏keep em coming!
ОтветитьIt’ll probably go a little faster once the engine loosens up
ОтветитьCan I ask what mic audio set up u use in th ego pro ? How you get audio do you edit?
ОтветитьNice review! I'd expect 4-5km/h difference vs GPS speed. Cheers :)
ОтветитьEngine smoothness compared to 1250? Great fun video!
ОтветитьLove your excitement Scott! That's insane how stable it is at high speeds, how does it handle in the tight stuff (twisties)?
ОтветитьOK, I’m impressed. Can’t wait to see the R1300RT performance.
ОтветитьHere in the US tapping the top of your helmet like that is warning other riders that law enforcement is near by!
ОтветитьMan come on slow down specially in the rain, I will not lie I enjoy your clip but take care
ОтветитьMy 1200 bmw rninet gets 240kmh on the speedometer... (220 real kmh?) I think that shows how big the GS and her Windshild is.
ОтветитьThat new engine seems to be a peach at all revs.....230kph at just 8000 revs, with revs to spare and in wet conditions......looks like it'll top 240/150, that's a fast boxer 😮!!
ОтветитьSo this is going to be your next bike ? Far out review . 😊
ОтветитьI’m loving it
ОтветитьIt's ironic that Nothing to Prove does a top speed test in the rain.
I bet you could get 10+ kmh if you lowered the windscreen and tucked in.
It seems to me that most modern street/highway geared large displacement bikes are capable of the 230 KPH range. Have you seen something else? Possibly not with the comfort of the big BMW.
