I just learned two things:
1) my camery a6000 can do eye AF.
2) I can switch between AF/MF while recording video, so I can pause the AF and resume it later!!!! nice.

If I press AEL it focuses on the eye and if I let go is see some kind of movement in the picture. Do I loose focus if I let it go? So do you have to keep pressing the AEL Button while taking the shot?

Does "Eye Auto Focus" work in video mode?

Awesome video. Kind of annoying that the A6000 doesn't just have an eye AF setting and that you need to assign a button to use eye AF, but still good nonetheless considering how old it is. I guess you just need to change settings on the fly depending on what you're shooting, inconvenient but at least it'll do it.

Do you press and hold the AEL button and then while holding you press the shutter button ,or you just press once release then,press the shutter button?

Nice tip. Didn't know that model can eye autofocus. Thought it's the a7rii or a7iii and up that could only do it.

Very interesting. Eye AF seems to work for me on center weighted focus as well. I haven't noticed a difference between Eye AF on wide or center either

Hi there. I have a question if you don't mind. If i press the AEL button for 1-2 seconds, the little green square appears in the eye. But after that timer, the green square just dissapear or becomes bigger (for his/her face). When do i need to press the shutter button then? Even if the little green eye square dissapear, the focus is fixed in the eye and will not move from it? Thanks in advance
