Just learning about Prussia cuz I just found out both my Grandma's Grandmas are Prussian. My family lives a long time so I can still talk to people who knew them. We expect a lot of ourselves and others. My 96 year old Grandma just got on her hands and knees and waxxed her kitchen floor lol. I see how the strict virtues/discipline were passed down. I just cooked 70lbs of chicken leg quarters (and shreaded the meat) and prepped 60 dinners (30 days worth) and 30 work breakfasts ( for my husband) this week on a really swollen and bruised sprained ankle. I was more worried about it healing wrong not the pain.
