I'm playing an MMO called Lost Ark and during an event there was an exploit which allowed players to multiply reward chests which blew up quite a lot before the devs managed to do anything. An MMO is a VERY social game so any sort of reward acquisition unfairness sullies the whole experience. The response and final decision from the devs came at a much later date and prior to that people were arguing with each other whether it's a bannable offense or not, whether the items can be taken away or if servers should be reverted back, which sounds very similar to what's going on with supercard atm. In the end, they decided to ban people for using the exploit based on how many times they did it, starting from I think it was a day, to a week, 3 weeks, etc. and the ones that had done it many many times received a perma ban. They also removed all duplicated materials that could be removed and deducted from the currency equal to the value of the items that were already used up, which sent some people in the minus if I remember correctly. I also recall this took very long until it happened completely and some people still had their duplicated stuff after their ban was over, so they could send it to another account or whatever, which of course caused more uproar. It was a whole circus in the community discord but generally I think that approach was the best way to go about it when things eventually got sorted out (or so I hope they did).

Surely CatDaddy have a way to monitor acquisition and its sources as well and will do some "taking away unintended goods" from the exploiters whilst banning the worst offenders. Free pack being openable more than once was CLEARLY not intended and a bug so I find it hard to have sympathy for the people who will end up getting punished if CatDaddy wants to do this justice. And of course, like in the lost ark case, people who did it like 2-3 times shouldn't get grouped up with the cases you show in the video, they just need a slap on the wrist. It's a really tough situation but it will be a good way for the devs to show their stance against exploits by "scaring" the exploiters with some consequences :)

I would hate if cat daddy gave me a ton of abyss’s because then the game would be almost completely pointless. I agree with what you said about removing pvp game modes and slowly working them back in

Also I just got heroic karrion kross and all this work I’ve down over the weekend would be absolutely pointless

I would enjoy if they were able to remove the abyss cards from those accounts and credits if possible.

It’s the big show event all over again. They didn’t take the cards away than. What changes now? Too many people got unlimited credits. Would make sense to get them gone so they can still make money on it

The people who abused this glitch should get there account banned it’s simply not far if they get to keep all those cards this reminds me of that Sammy Zane event glitch from way back lol

CatDaddy has messed up big time here, testing should prevent exploits like this. People should probably know better and hopefully their accounts get wound back and a 7 day ban or something

I agree with doing away with PVP and making it a even playing field but eventually slowly bring it back plus I don't wanna run into opponent that has stacked deck although I don't know what cat daddy can actually do about this 🤔

I was about to come back to the game, glad I postponed that decision. Played all through S2 -> Couple of months ago, but it does seem CatDaddy is doing what it does best :D

Cattdaddy needs to give us free credits for the f up

This is so unfair I never got a chance at all to the free pack in the store it was gone by the time I got on there

Did they take that gift down? I got it on my main but when I tried another like 5 hours later only the Ethan Page pack was up for free.

Something very similar to this happened many, many years ago on NBA Supercard with an infinite glitch free pack. It was a mess and ended up with people losing jobs. I redeemed this pack ONE time because I remember what happened then with all of the cards getting replaced by commons ans losing even legitimately earned cards.

I claimed the pack once and I don't even think it reappeared for me. It was a a normal free pack opening and i hope i dont get banned for claiming the pack only once.

I have been playing this game since season 2 and i have seen glitches in the past but not to this extent , I don't know how they are going to fix this, I just hope it would not affect the players who genuinely did not get benefit from this glitch whatsoever , i really don't want my cards or progress to be reset or gone just bcuz of few people exploiting the game and hopefully we will be assured not to see any glitches like this in the future gameplays

Why would legitimate players leave if they ban the cheaters from the game? If anything it would be the opposite since they are removing the negative from the game.

i know about final fantasy brave exvuis Mod did remove mistakenly given items but in the end they give that f as free reward

Make it a single-player game, and keep team vs. CPU events. One thing with that change, they could do. Finally, add a reap trading system. Either globally or within your own team. It'd probably cost credits. Could work somehow, though?

Didn’t get to open the free gift pack neither do I receive any rewards from mailbox like some players do. It’s quite disappointing though. Seriously consider switching game if no compensation being made.

im over here grinding my ah off , while these people cheat , yea supercard better ban or do something about this, this is gonna be bad month lmao which i really hope it isnt , the people that abused this exploit has every right to be banned imo, i mean its a clear disadvantage , depending if ur a ride or die for this game i dont think we will see a big loss, giving the players that didnt use the exploit like me lol, id say wed be back to normal

It's clearly unfair, the effort of a player who didn't take advantage of a mistake, versus one who was lucky, didn't play much, and took advantage of that, either they remove all those cards, or they give everyone that card.

I opened the gift but it went away after I opened it. I think One way they could fix this would be check all accounts with more than 5 abyss cards and roll back that account by a day (I know other games have this feature but not sure about SuperCard).

Off topic question, did they actually removed the support cards animation in combat? like since when and why? I really miss them, when I play a guitar support card I can see my superstar using a guitar to hit opponent.

People who clicked on the exploited pack more than twice should get banned. Give them the first additional click as a mistake. Anything after that? Banned...

Legit players won't leave if cheaters get banned. They will if they don't

That was from SuperCard it's not a chest it's from the mistake they made a mistake on Rd

I was on my 8th shard on Rd and they resetted my Rd and they gave me 3 gifts but wasn't repeatable

I'll make an update video on this once we have more information on what Catdaddy (WWE Supercard) intend to do, or not to do.

But initially, I see a lot of players worried about being banned for clicking on the exploit. Don't worry, I doubt anyone is getting banned for clicking the free pack.

But I really do think WWE Supercard need to do something about this.
