RVD has always been very serious about his physical conditioning and athleticism. It's no surprise he's still in great shape after all these years.

Man I'm so thankful as a wrestling fan (35 years 💪🏾) to say I got to watch a RVD match in 2023. Rob surprised the hell out of me, he's a step slower but still amazing to watch. STILL ONE OF A KIND

I don't think that even at his age and his limp Jack Perry could actually force Rob Van Dam to do the job against his will. I think Rob Van Dam decided to be "nice" and put him over, but not too strongly because he's a pipsqueak with no legitimate wrestling or combat sport credentials, and not a great worker besides.

I feel like jack perry pinning rvd in the opener of the wembley show would've been a great way to start that show, a great way to showcase the new heel perry, and a great way to get the fans off their feet. But hey yeah, give it away on dynamite

I loved ECW and Sabu and RVD and Dreamer and all them, but I've always hated the, "Im going to place this chair in front of your face or on your body. There is no possible way you can move in any fashion to move it."

I can barely buy the, "lay here on this table" as it is. But the chair one is mind boggling.

Enjoyed seeing RVD wrestle again, but there should have been some build to this match. Not just one week, with a one off match.

Rvd can play a role like Sting. Wrestle occasionally and help young guys too. He's great even after all these years.

Weird to me how Jim and Brian are referring to RVD like he's Glacier or something. Van Dam is a former WWE and ECW World Champion, he has a win over John Cena and was, at a time, the most over professional wrestler in the business (2001). Jack getting a clean win over him would not have made any sense. I thought this match was excellent and booked perfectly.

I was very surprised by RVD's performance 😮! Was a Good match ober all, except for that table spot 😬 But an interesting match over all. For now the matches for the FTW title are interesting. For a moment I thought RVD might win, and that's what I like about title matches. Was never a fan of the type of matches where they bring someone random to chalenge for a title, like AEW does with the TNT title, the International title and even the Women's title and TBS title. I basically skip matches from thise titles, because it's always too obvious that the champion will retain just by seeing who the oponent is, and where they are in the AEW card. I hope they keep Jack Perry's matches interesting, thought I doubt. And I'm starting to like Perry more and more. I think he has a lot of potential if used right.

I still feel like RVD jobbing to Jungleboy just seems random. It's nice of Rob to get a good payday and put him over, but the way Tony Klown books the company, no one is going to remember it. RVD vs MJF would've been better. MJF's promos could have been something and ultimately when MJF would've won, he'd look so much better beating another legend, especially if they are going to do Punk vs MJF. Now if Jungleboy actually continued winning matches and bragged about the guys he beat, then I could get it. If Jungleboy is actually going to keep trying with his heel turn, I could be for it but I wouldn't be surprised if he goes back to just being complacent on the roster because he is buddies with the Bucks and Omega.

Jungle juice should have not went over on rvd. Rvd isnt what he used to be but non of us are after 40, but still did some pretty decent stuff to help a young guy. But putting him over was a stretch for a kid that kept messing up in that match

I always wondered what Jim thought of RVD. I should of known that it was not his style. It looked cool back in the day because he could do it like no one else. But it was still that violent kind of Wrestling.

Apparently, Jim has never seen an RVD match, since he doesn’t know what a Rolling Thunder is. I mean, he’s more likely to use that in a match, than the Vandamenator, Vanterminator, or the 5 star Frog Splash.

The only thing that I thought was odd how easily jack perry could move him around.

Why should this be an easy match for jack perry. Rob Van Dam is bigger, more flexible, more experienced, probably around the same athleticism level.

The double bounce made sense. That's what gave him the time to get out of the way. Maybe a little quick to get out of the way.
