I know privacy is an issue but it'd be so interesting to hear stories about dealing with difficult clients or difficult situations in general.

I can relate to this a lot working in HR! But I really can’t imagine what lawyers have to go through! Thanks for sharing Judy! Also love your festive background ☺️

I agree that most people are emotional when they are coming to a lawyer and active listening and not taking it personally goes a long way

Your background looks so calming. Good touch to a video about remaining calm and respectful! You seem so nice. These tips are also great for me because I’m a teacher. 💕

I try my best to follow all of these tips to everyone I'm talking to. If I'm ever aggressive to someone then it will take a longer time to get our topic resolved. Lmao, my friend told me about the accusatory statements too and he did that to me when we had a conversation

I’ve dealt with a few of them. Most important lesson I learned.. there is no amount of money that you should ever accept in order to represent a problem or difficult client, just don’t take on the obligation

You look so beautiful, dressed up for Christmas, Judy! (Not that you're any slouch during the regular year! Please don't take it that way! lol)

Im digging the holiday vibes! I think one of the main issues with new attorneys (and interns) is that it is difficult to get used to the different types of clients (and opposition) there are. We never really have that experience until we are in these positions. Great video that I am sure many people needed to hear. If only law school taught things like this and what it is actually like to be a lawyer in practice!
