CORRECTION: You CAN still enter 360 mode in the latest beta release (it's just a bit laggy when you move around)... 3D > Spherical Panorama > New Panorama Layer From Selected Layer. Then, use generative fill, and don't forget to 'Merge Down' the generated layer BEFORE you start moving the viewpoint around.
Also kinda weird that the message '3D features are being discontinued' has been showing up for 2 years now yet they haven't fully removed them 🤔
Wath's your camera to make this 360 photos?
ОтветитьHi Ben i am from Ukraine) I have a company making 360 tours with local seo for my clients and i send them One x they making a fotoes bythemselves and then sending me camera back in that way they spend much less and get theis 360 tour for about 50 usd) THE QUESTION IS: Sometimes i have clients that needs good quality 360 and in that case i search for a another 360 fotographer but maybe there is some camera that can help in such case? Like Titan? Or there is something with less price or a camera with fish eye is the better option the problem i am afraid that i would not get how to to stitching and editing process so give me an advice please
ОтветитьGreat video. Now I have to switch from Luminar New (one time purchase) to Photoshop (subscription). But generative fill is next level.
ОтветитьWhen will you course be ready ?
ОтветитьHi Ben, just to ask is it possible to combine 2 different 360 images file into 1 single file and view in panorama view?
Ответить😘 'PromoSM'
ОтветитьHi @BenClaremont, I have a very weird and seemingly very specific problem with the Insta360 X3 to GSV workflow. I followed your tutorial/X3 review video from ~6months ago and got myself the GPS remote control, since the connection with phone (iOS or Android) regularly disconnects during a shoot. I can do the 5.7K variation just fine - the gps is correct and I can upload it on GSV. I am not happy enough with the image quality though, so I opted for the interval mode 72MP every 3s variation. And here is the problem (with which the Insta360 support couldn't help at all, they basically said it should work and that's it - but it doesn't):
The GPS coordinates are totally whack when shooting interval or just regular photo mode - I am in Austria and all of the pictures I took show up as if I was running hundreds of kilometers in the ocean next to Yemen. The route itself looks correct in relation to each individual point - it does show up how it should, but the scale and the location is just wrong. Do you get how I mean it? :S
First I thought the coordinates might for whatever reason "just" be swapped, but even then the issue of the photos being ~100km apart from eachother and after swapping the lon and lat they appear somewhere around Hambourgh, Germany (~10h away from where I am).
Do you have ANY idea what the problem could be? Or even better: how to solve the issue?
I hope you read this ^^'
Thanks in advance and have a nice day,
Ivo
Hi, is there a way to capture 360 photos on iphone? Any video links?
ОтветитьGenius! It still irks me that Adobe thought it was a good idea to remove 360 editing from PS 🤬, especially given the popularity of 360's. But this is impressive and thanks for a very informative video.
ОтветитьHey ben love ur vids can you do an update to matterport alts. Its veen a year. I know cloudpano has had lots of updates including dollhouses. Matterport pricong gets insane thanks
ОтветитьI like your effort to bring the AI tool awareness to community, however I downloaded Beta, I see Contextual Bar but no input prompt option to write into. Anybody else have this issue?
ОтветитьThis is brilliant!
ОтветитьCrazyyyy good.
ОтветитьSuper Awesome!
ОтветитьDo you have a coupon Code for your course?
ОтветитьAI is so perfect for 360º photos!!! I've been thinking about this ever since I started using Ps Beta and Generative Fill. You can just select an area to fix and tell it nothing and 90% of the time it just fixes it! Removing shadows and reflections of the camera and tripod... simple. Remove people... simple. Add things, adjust things, stuff that would have taken hours... SIMPLE! And as you can see, it detects the angle of the sun and adds shadows on things you put in and puts them in the right area. Crazy! I LOVE Ps Beta's Generative Fill!
ОтветитьHey Ben❣
I purchased your Virtual Pro course & Business course also (AMAZING!!!)
Is there a way that we can communicate, I did my first hotel tour with the THETA X and I have purchased all the software you suggested such as: Affinity Bundle, Topaz Bundle, 3DVista, then watching this current video above, I downloaded the adobe photoshop trial (my screen doesn't look like yours to open photoshop😕). I don't have a real instructional to merge/integrate affinity & photoshop, also the other edits I have done in affinity isn't compatible with 3DVista🤯. I took this content on Mother's Day and i'm still trying to edit and make a virtual tour walk through. To add more 😕 the 3DVista isn't stitching my images properly, then Nadir is not showing properly😭what am I doing wrong PLEASE HELP ME!
Great news, I am able to remove the monopod😁
Nice explanation
ОтветитьYou know there’s gonna be at least two or three pictures that can see that wall or the fire pit. You never gonna be able to find the same picture or the same fire pit. I love how you’re trying to monetize from this though…. I just did an Asteroom shoot today.
Ответитьremember, dont talk to it like a human. dont do things like "add firepit" as it doesnt understand language like that and adobe has said this themselves. type something like "firepit" or "warm firepit with logs", no instructive words. and when removing something its best to leave it blank, and if not, then do something like "bench leg" or "wooden chair leg"
ОтветитьCan you use this as an alternative for virtual staging ?🤔
ОтветитьWow...really impressive. So far I haven't been into 360 cams, though I randomly follow your content. Amazing work - keep it going!
ОтветитьUnbelievable! This is so awesome thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьGreat video as always Ben. THANK YOU!
ОтветитьHi Ben! We are supportive & enthusiastic fans of your work and contributions to our growing VR / 360 community here at Reality Capture Experts! Just wanted to add a quick comment here to say THANK YOU :-)
ОтветитьLet's hope Affinity comes up with something similar. Then there won't be a need for Photoshop.
ОтветитьSometimes you don't need to type in a prompt and it acts kind of like a super version of content aware fill.
ОтветитьNot yet realistic but will improve for sure, pity PS 360 not working anymore 😒
ОтветитьThanxs Ben, i already was working with generative fill and affinitiy photo but had no idea how get the right position from affiniti to photoshop , quiet easy at the end ;)
greetings Ben
Hi Ben. Why not do it directly in Photoshop? Even photoshop dropped support for 3D features, you can still use spherical panorama projection in latest photoshop (v24.7.0). It is simple and easier than jump to affinity photo.
ОтветитьWith pano2VR, the "merge process" you describe is much easier. One click and a patch is created that can be opened immediately in Photoshop. In addition, the spherical perspective is converted to 2D. I love pano2VR in combination with the new Firefly engine!
Ответить100% useful
ОтветитьI think Adobe recommended avoiding Instructions (add or remove stuff), but using Descriptions (of the object, scene you want it to generate). Furthermore, to remove unwanted object, you can just leave empty and click generative fill directly. By default, it will remove selected unwanted object of the scene and blend it well.
ОтветитьWhen working with Pano2VR to produce the Virtual Tour, you can use its "Patch" feature instead of the entire Affinity Photo extracting and merging process. Same kind of process in principle, but less error-prone, because you don't have to take care not to move the 360° view while editing externally in Photoshop, and the extract / merge is done automatically, without any manual dealing with files. Thanks for the great video! :)
ОтветитьIs there any android app that does this even for flat images ?
ОтветитьCool Ben...learning a lot from your channel...Thanks!
ОтветитьExcellent Tutorial...Many Thanks.
ОтветитьQuestion: does the Affinity Photo has any guide snapping feature to help when aligning the edited shot from Photoshop?
Ответитьso that means I can create a 360 Equirectangular projection with Midjourney,, place it in Affinity and correct it with PS then upscale it with Topaz,...so no 360 camera needed anymore....you're welcome! :P
ОтветитьWhat about 360 video ..
ОтветитьNICE
ОтветитьI guess the lightning to the new add object, is bit strange. Like you would, cut out some couch from some IKEA magazine, and place it to your 360 shot. They have to work on the lights
