Wow that's awesome 👌yeah I may have to get one 😀
ОтветитьNice job!!..
ОтветитьVery nice mate👍
ОтветитьAnother great build Chris! I just have one complaint. I know it's your channel. But, too many commercials!
ОтветитьI built 1 of these a few years ago turned really nice. I like the kit so much I just picked up 3 more kits from ebay 2 weeks ago. KUTGW
ОтветитьThis one is on my "wish list" since forever - so glad for rerelease - just hope it won't be for a "limited" run! Yes - will save on precious precious shelf space.... Anyone courageous enough to to go for a "stinger" rack for the tractor???
ОтветитьVery awesome sir....!! (Was hoping to see a little more time and angles with cars on it though..)
ОтветитьWho doesn't need one of these??? Super cool build.
Ответитьl'm toying with a scratch built version from the late 40's using AMT's "lowboy" trailer as a base. Obviously holding a max of 5 cars and very limited hydraulic ramp movement. Plus the port hole/ribbed siding limiting cargo view. I've used styrene channel for the actual tread path/ ramps. What you may wish to add here are lengths of plastic band strapping placed within the channel. It is "crosshatched"and gives great effect. Lots of work ahead for me but thought I'd pass the tip to you.
ОтветитьWhat an amazing looking trailer
ОтветитьCan't wait to see the build of the chrome tanker! Great job on the car hauler!
ОтветитьHow many cars was this trailer designed to carry????
ОтветитьWow, I just love this channel ! Awesome job again and great back story with Ace Cars !!! GOD Bless !!! 😇👍🏼
ОтветитьI've been enjoying your videos. Any ideas for modeling with only one hand? Can't remember stand with adjustable arms and alligator clips on the ends. I think it was called mechanical fingers used in electronics. Any suggestion would be much appreciated!
ОтветитьTry a satin coat on the chrome and let us see how you like it or not
ОтветитьMust have been a Ford transporter with all those oil stains in the middle. Lol. Terrific work as usual good sir!
ОтветитьWill this hook up with most cabs of 1/25 th scale including AMT's?
ОтветитьI noticed about 10 minutes into your build you mentioned the hitch pin was broken off. I bought this same model and, low and behold, mine was broken off also. Must be a factory thing. Great build.
ОтветитьI gotta be honest man my favorite part of your videos is when you hand paint the pieces the attention to detail that you add to them is amazing you give them the look of everyday use if they where life size keep up the good work buddy
ОтветитьDose it attached to the semi truck
ОтветитьThey remove a lot of structural members in this model. I guess they were trying to save on how much plastic was being used.
ОтветитьWell this one is cool. I’m a car hauler in real life. Thanks for doing this one
ОтветитьJust getting around to building mine. Did you have shifted seem lines like me? Took hours to clean up. Mine also had a broken king pin.
Painting mine like one I see near me. Need to stretch my peterbilt tractor and lengthen the sleeper. Love the weathering.
Stay safe buddy 🌲
You're right about the ramps.
ОтветитьI have the original release from the 80s, Looks the same was a good kit then
ОтветитьWell I watched the video several times and bought the trailer and now I have a very strange question.. Can you tell me how high it is from the table to the top of car #11??? I am making a shadow box for the trailer and tractor and would like to make it before I complete the trailer...
ОтветитьAnyone else notice the instructions are wrong about the bumper. The box art has the low part of the bumper touching the frame and the instructions call for the bumper wings to be even with the frame. I noticed it after it was painted 🙈😔
ОтветитьVery nice build, i ordered this model this week and the Peterbilt 359 conventional for the display. I had also some us cars to fill the Trailer.
Ответитьdo you do 1:64 scale paint?
ОтветитьCan it roll
ОтветитьWell, here I am again with a big problem this time.. I have lost parts... Is there any way to get replacement parts???
Ответитьtwo questions for you. the first is can I still find these trailers to assemble?. the second question is on the auto trailers we see today the semi has a platform to put a car on the semi. Is it possible for me to create something like that ? and what would I use thanks!
ОтветитьAnyone know 1/24 Tamiya cars fit on there?
ОтветитьI absolutely love how you have little backstorys for your builds.
ОтветитьThe build turned out great, excellent work! I have built one myself a couple of years back, but I also noticed that modern 1/24 scale cars like a Ferrari Enzo (or a Jaguar XJ220) don't actually fit on the trailer...
ОтветитьSalut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe .
ОтветитьDid you have any issues with hooking up the hydraulic hoses?
ОтветитьDo you think this would hold diecast cars or just resin/plastic models?
ОтветитьLooks great, as always! Thanks for the video. Near my house there is a ginormous lot that sells to dealers only. One day I saw a trailer jammed full of vintage muscle cars. All of the cars on top were first-generation Camaros. You are an ace at weathering. Cool on you!
ОтветитьDo you ever have to thin your bottle paints? I always have to. Thanks!
ОтветитьHow do I get that car carrier can you send me one
ОтветитьMy kit didn't have the chains so i used some cheap jewelry for little kids chain.
ОтветитьI like the detail oil effect on the drip strip between the frame rails but when the dealer sees it on his lot when the NEW cars arrive he just might send them back. I for one wouldnt want purchase a new vehicle leaking oil all over the place. 😊
ОтветитьI would love to see them make the car carrier that has the tractor trailer truck. That is incorporated with the frame work to hold the cars on it and the trailer.
ОтветитьYou make this one seem simple! Then again, the full-size auto transport trailer’s utilitarian design and its open form both lend themselves to an ease of the kit’s construction, and in painting it realistically, which Revell AG’s adaptation of the actual apparatus uses to good effect on both counts.
This trailer kit is noticeably larger and rather sturdier than its AMT predecessor. A key concern would be what tractor would pull it, toward making a creditable display; a Kenworth or a Peterbilt might seem obvious. Would such a cab have a sleeper?
Additionally, this auto transport trailer looks to me to be relatively new (I understand the kit dates from 1987, though this feels premature); therefore, some of the available kits of tractors (of relatively limited choices) could be a generation or more older, so something more contemporaneous might prove more realistic.
Also, the automakers would place in the lead a vehicle of its own manufacture; for Ford automobiles, this might be the Ford L 9000, and for General Motors products, perhaps the GMC General Tractor (or something similar). I note all this because I would need to find a suitable model kit to pair with the trailer replica; for me, the best available option would be the Ford L 9000. I would appreciate your feedback on technical and historical accuracy.
That is the key: accuracy.
Thank You Great Build I have this model now I know how to do it My way Thank You 🐎Mr. ED Says Just Have Fun Modeling. Oh I am going to get me some aftermarket chain binders
ОтветитьHad this kit back in the 90s and put it together. Was destroyed in a household move. Purchased again after seeing this video. A bit disappointed this time. Using Testors liquid, a lit of parts are breaking, read that 'snapping' when the glue is simply applied to them. Muddling through it though. Enjoy the videos!
