Unfortunately this ruins the mainstream's perception of dnd further.
Whilst I love Acaster and Ayoade, I can't help but cringe at how poorly they've portrayed this much beloved hobby.

On the topic of irony and the main stream going haha at anything RP: Fact of the matter is that they themselves are up to their necks in fantasy narratives that are so integrated in their lives they're typically not even aware of their existence. Now that's what I call irony. Haha.

This may be pedantic but this is NOT dnd. DnD is more than just any fantasy game, it’s a specific rule set. Just calling anything fantasy related dnd is a bit like calling anything you do with dice Yahtzee.
