after watching this movie i had a question that made up into my mind so here it is

if a group of 5 or 10 highly trained soldiers like the marine or navy get into this situation where cannibalistic tribes tried to hunt them down to eat would u guys think they will survive (lets just also say that they have weapons like a rifle and a knife)

What if the tribe in the movie weren’t Campbell’s nor the enemy? What if after the survivors crashed it was the Amazon itself they killed them through the climate, flora & fauna, and the paranoia of the tribes being cannibals caused survivors to avoid them thus they don’t get rescued. And Justin in the end was saved by the tribe from illegal loggers who wanted to kill her so she doesn’t tell on them.

It was so satisfying when the guy in the cage begs her for his life and she turns her beautiful back side to him and leaves him trapped and doomed

At the end of the movie, when Justine goes back to the US, she lies saying that she was the only survivor of the plane crash and the tribe nurtured her. That they helped guide her out of the jungle. I think the only reason why she lied was because of the child that saved her. I think she knew if she told the truth about the tribe being cannibals, they would go and kill them all, including that one child. Justine probably lied just to make sure that the child gets to live. But I still don't think that's an excuse to lie about everything. I think Justine still should've told the whole story. She can still mention how the little boy saved her. She should've even mentioned how Alejandro was willing to let each member of the group die so he could live longer. I mean, he used that dart on Lars to keep him in the cage while Daniel and Justine escaped. Not only should Justine mentioned how Alejandro lied to them all which led to everyone else's deaths, but Justine should've told everyone the truth about the tribe to warn them that if they go to the territory, they be eaten.

Weird clip. Why chase her thru the jungle just to let her walk away when you have her dead to rights? Why did the tribesmen stop fighting the mercinary forces? She said hi & the entire battle ceased. Why was the utility company hanging around in the background?
