Not ensuring that Burt and Claire saw the alien photos on the cellphone, Claire hiding Lennies death from the rest of the group, not running immediately as the monster was first seen, not telling the rest of the group what happened with Burt and the monster, etc.

The movie starts off good then when the kids show up and the lady thinks she's the head honcho is it when the movie takes a weird turn when you find a dead body you don't move forward you go back and report it nobody would have went to jail she's just little delusional and only cares about herself. I find the movie okay but not a great movie if the creature would have killed the woman first it would probably be more interesting than listening to her act like she's Smart & Knows Best

A fine sc-fi thriller! I don't care for films starring ugly monsters from outer space - I prefer the more subtle invasions. But this one was worth seeing to the end.

Anybody else want to throw the idiots to the monster for being so stupid? Keep it busy, while they do whatever. Whenever I watch movies like this, I can't help but want to sacrifice the idiots. They just cause problems for everyone else! And what the hell is wrong with some people, especially girls, who can't keep their mouth shut when they need to be as quiet as possible? I would ask what's wrong with people, but we already know.

First off, it's the wrong monster in the advertisement. The one in the movie is some sort of cybernetic alien, that has 2 arms and 4 legs. It's not a 4 legged quadruped.
