Always had the greatest respect for the US and the relative stability they have maintained, especially on my continent but I have huge fears for the next four years with these people in power. Is this what Americans really voted for?

Americans are waking up to the propaganda on both sides. Tucker acting like a sycophant instead of a sober and critical journalist. He must have received a visit or phone call. I agree that the amount of civilian deaths on Gaza is unacceptable. However, im curious how Israel is supposed to totally avoid that while Hamas seems to be hiding in around and under these civilian areas. From what i hear, Israel does give a heDs up to the population and urge them to leave but i also hear most of these people have nowhere to go and other countries aren't standing in line to welcome them tobtheir own country. Its just a messed up situation no matter what side you are on especially your average Palestinian family just trying to make it and raise their family in peace. If they would just release the remaining 25 hostages that are said to be alive as well as the dead, at least that would justify Israel stopping the leveling if Gaza. It would also prove Isael has ulterior motives if they kept going after saying it would all stop if hostages were released.

If the USA won't recognize that it was their policy that has driven Russia to arms, then we are poised to repeat the same mistakes in the future. And since it is a non-negotiable part for Russia, if mr. Trump really wants peace, then this reality must be acknowledged, confronted and dealt with, because without such reconciliation negotiations are doomed to fall on that cornerstone. So it's a good news to hear at least recognition of that from mr. Witkoff.
