Hi Tomi an interesting review of the technology. Can you answer this question. How much data is Google harvesting from drivers of Polestar 2?
ОтветитьI love this car! Can't wait to see it coming to Spain.
ОтветитьHe needed to test the performance version so the seatbelt would match his shirt 😊
ОтветитьPlease mute the "Hey Google" command in future videos and just put it as an overlay text for explanation. They way you're doing it now you're setting off everyone's system at home when playing this video. Thank you.
ОтветитьGreat review!
ОтветитьIt's embarrassing that a channel dedicated to EV's get so many things wrong. They even contradict their own previous video on the Polestar 2 vs Model 3.
ОтветитьReview 👍🏼 car👎🏼
That huge plastic console, fake transmission shifter and drive shaft tunnel are all pitiful but they make it clear what you’re really getting.
You’re spending 50k on a electric conversion. For that kind of money, treat yourself to a proper EV built from the ground up.
This guy seems to be just reviewing the tech. Which he did well. Can’t blame him for the car.
Seems like the OS of choice is being chosen by continent. google for Europe, Amazon for Korea, Tesla for America and of course, bankruptcy for the other 2 scrap heaps left In America.
No one has taken up Sony on their offer? Everyone’s maybe still confused with their CES display. 😆 Apple has advances and just sits silent? Why?
And you get a electric car that has not even close to the range advertised.
ОтветитьHow big is the bezel on the screen, its like Amazon had some leftovers of the first tablet going spare and then Polestar stuck them on in the wrong orientation, why on earth would you position it in portrait.....?
ОтветитьDid Google design the interface graphics for people with fat fingers, the layout just looks wrong on so many levels. Such a poor effort by Google, its supposed to be infotainment, but Google forgot the entertainment part.
ОтветитьI'm sceptical that you can connect your laptop to the cars 4G signal, surely that just opens security risks on so many worrying levels.
ОтветитьWould they not just be better allowing you to mirror your phone on the screen?
ОтветитьWas it just me or did he skip over the left camera not working...😄
ОтветитьNothing new to see here that wasn't done over 10 years ago by a well know Silicon Valley company.
ОтветитьPolestar made in China. Stop supporting the Oppressive Chinese Communist Regime and child labour with your purchases. China has enough of a pollution problem without you adding to it. I don't care where the design comes from, what country their head office is in, where Volvo are, this thing is still made in China. I am yet to own anything Chinese made that has lasted. They only care for production rates and money and, in case you're wondering, my phone is made in Taiwan as I refuse any more Chinese junk in my life....
ОтветитьYou realise you set off scores of Google devices, including mine, when you said 'hey Google'
ОтветитьAn excellent and helpful car tech review. Polestar have got it right with Google.
ОтветитьHaving Google baked in is pretty awesome
ОтветитьMore cars should have Google built in
ОтветитьHey Google......How dumb am l😂🤣😂🤣
ОтветитьElectrifying video Tomi. Great work. Polestar 2 looks amazing.
ОтветитьJust spoke to a nice chap at Polestar and you cannot create a WiFi hotspot.
ОтветитьWhere is the in-depth part of the review?
Ответить"Hey Polestar" would have been a better choice, since passager using their phone can unintentionally tamper with the behaviour of the car, not to mention a music or video paying on the entertainment system, or a pedestrian willing to make a joke "Hey Google, turn the music at max level, switch all lights on, etc". Or maybe a bad guy passing by while you are waiting at the traffic light : "Hey Google, open the trunk"... Tesla made the choice of a physical button to activate voice command, it may be for a good raison...
ОтветитьY
ОтветитьOne question
How do I protect the battery whe leaving it for 2 to 3 months
I have a home charger. Do I leave it plugged in, will the car take energy when it needs it. Can you set up the car to stay arround say 60%
Have all of these been recalled? or just the first 2200?
ОтветитьNot enough rings on the fingers
ОтветитьToo bad we couldn`t hear Drake LOL; That car is awesome!!!
ОтветитьHey Google, do this car review for me please
ОтветитьThis sounds amazing, wishing I can get one soon.
ОтветитьOne of The bedst review of Polestar 2 , good job
ОтветитьThis was a great tech review. Well done Tomi.
ОтветитьGood review. The thing is, this is just the beginning for Polestar. They've announced three vehicles to come. The Polestar 3, 4, and 5. They're also in the process of going public. The 2 really is a transitional car to the dedicated, ground-up Polestar 3 and beyond with a different, less Volvo-y look to them. While the tech is good I really think what makes them interesting will be their suspensions, how they'll be another version of a sporty EV. They'll also have Scandinavian design (although their head designer is Austrian). The execs at Polestar say the 3 will be a Volvo xc90 sized lux/sport coupe SUV at $70,000 plus and be out next year. The 4 will be out in 2023 and will be much less, around $45,000. It's another coupe SUV but more accessible financially to buyers who aren't of the means to spend $70000 on a vehicle. The 5 is a sedan and will be expensive, I don't think they've announced the price.
Some differences to the 2 is the huge center console goes away, the floors are flat, front and back, the size of the screen goes up but will remain portrait (so far), and on the outside, they'll have a Lidar unit sitting on their front of their roofs (Volvo will as well).
Who is the type of buyer for these cars? Volvo buyers, people who shop Genesis, Acura, Lexus, and some German famous makes who are open to something not German.
