Weddell seals

A NIWA-led team of marine ecologists use seal-mounted cameras to get new insights into the behaviour and movements of Weddell seals under the Antarctic ice.
The images they have obtained on food foraging and other interactions foraging will play a key role in monitoring efforts to protect the seals.
