Great Review.. We have a Manual version of this. I would not agree your verdict regarding the bootspace. just two weeks back v were 7 people and had to travel together. So, two adults (height 5.2 and 5.4) sat in the boot, ofcourse not comfortably .. my point is boot space is decent and def way bigger than celerio - you have exaggerated too much by saying its boot is smaller than celario.
it easily carries 5 people in the hilly roads of b'lore, very smooth gears, comfortable ride and easy to drive in busy traffic too. Loved it.. Def a great family car!

I faced a critical issue in GV. I went for a drive from Bhubaneswar to Tirupati which is around 1300 KMs and in Tirupati my fuel pump stopped functioning. As usual Tirupati Nexa do not have spare part and they kept my car for 6 days in the workshop.
I requested Maruti to provide me the details that why in new car fuel pump malfunctions but they didn’t responded till now.
The issue I faced in just 3000 kms ruuning

Maruti build quality is pathetic. For example this particular model of car can not withstand a rollover. It will be heavily damaged. Front collision result we all know for Maruti cars. astonished to see why there is not proper sunroof protection. a mere sunblind is being provided. In what sense it can be a rival. This kind of cars should go to garbage bins.

In articulation even the wheels which are not in contact with the ground are also rotating which means the power is distributed to those wheels also and also in snow mode the wheels slipped of from ice slab and came onto the ground beside and that is when it got the traction and came out of it.

Currently I own Innova Crysta diesel and Swift petrol ...

Hi.. I am planning for grand vitara.. I am confused which to choose, automatic or manual. I don't have any issue with manual but in manual they r offering 5speed gear whereas in automatic 6speed gear is available. My most of running will be in highways so i am confused which will give better mileage and more comfort manual or automatic? ?
