what does seperating the top and low end on bass do for the track why do they do this?

When they split the bass into two tracks, do they keep the bottom end in mono and the top frequencies which they widen in stereo?

This may be a dumb question, but wouldn’t splitting the kick in two bands start causing phase issues? Especially because its a low fq region and the crossover happens quite low, and then more importantly if you have a 3+ mic drum setup?

i wouldn't say Jaycen STOLE them lol I would say that Pensado GAVE them to him.... Stole makes me think it was shady. Hell Pensado's "into the lair" he gives us all very valuable information. That's one of the greatest things about Dave.. He's not afraid to share concepts and give back... why? because he is endlessly creative and doesn't rely on concepts themselves to make him great.
