Is it water proof without the housing ?

Hi can you help. I can seem to record for more than 8 mins before it stops and starts recording again. I need. 1 hour recordings.

External mic supported?????

Thanks Ifti for another great and honest review. There is an old adige that says 'You get what you play for'. Yes it is a cheaper camera that the Go Pros and other high end cameras but for me I saved my money and purchased the Hero 9 and love it. I agree that if you don't have the money or want a camera that you don't mind too much what happens to it then this is the next best thing. Oh, and as always a BIG thumbs up and stay safe over there.

It's always the same with the cheap action cams, as soon as the speed is filmed (test with a motorcycle would have been better), the sharpness in the image starts to blur in the middle. It is an eternal shame to film today's recordings by bad cameras for moments later. You can already see clouding in the center of the image on the mountain bike. Then buy a used GoPro Hero 4, almost as expensive and a much better camera
