Cant seem to break the 120k range in construction sales in 4 yrs. Im starting to get overwhelmed with project managment, micromanagment, taking on too many responsibilities and doing too much outside my job description a d wasting time doing things out of touch upper managment thinks is a good use of time. I just want to do the right thing and work with people who choose to do business with me intead of trying to twist arms. Feel like I need to get into a new line of work. My friend does life insurance and has a lot of freedom but i dont know if i could muster working on phone all day, not that much of a talker

Ive learned over 8 yrs in sales that it's not about being saley, its about trust, connection, and having the nitty gritty knowledge to back yourself up when customer tests you. No easy way out, no pitches, no tactics. I just try to be the person i would hire. Any recomendations on other products or services someone whos knowledgable in construction or engineering would be good in? Ultimatly I'll probably end up in real estate, i just wonder if thats a good sector atm. Thanks man

I am a car sales vet myself. But living in an extremely rural area, dependent on Coal, with only one internet provider and shitty cell service in spots, can and does mess with mindset at times. But when videos like these come along, it is a reminder, of knowing what is achievable when have enough determination!!!

Solar is easy and free money. Literally a money printer. It's a joke that anyone wouldn't do solar. I find it hard to look at my friends who don't do solar. I just cannot possibly wrap my head around why you would not do that.

I wanna do sales until I have a line of stores already bought ( i wanna franchise). which industry do you think would be the best fit for me i’m definitely a in person kind of guy. I wanna hit the 300-500k mark. getting a job at a car dealership is currently what im looking at due to the ceiling of revenue you can accomplish but i just wanted your personal advice

I’ve personally spent 4 years in the car industry and in 2022 averaged 15k take home per month first quarter. You need to be in a highly populated area and in the south where dealers pay 25-40% true front end gross. I’m currently a life only agent and had many months making 10k with one 25hrs spent per week. This guy is right on point. However with the insurance business the lead generation for agents can be even more profitable.

I’ve been in sales since 2014 started with door to door for telecom. Then I went to life insurance at NYL. Then 4 years door to door again for Vivint alarms systems. Now I’m doing remote merchant processing/gym management software which is fine warm leads but pay not what I was expecting. Might go back to life insurance when I’m back stateside as I’m currently living in Colombia. Never tried car sales but that would be fun as I love cars haha

Why “top producers” in air quotes for life insurance…. I already see what you mean by the “BS” in the industry, but again why air quotes for “top producers”? Is it like a self proclaimed top producer? Is the opportunity to make good money smaller in the insurance industry or what?
