You are completely off about the Palenqueras! If you so much as point a camera in their direction, they will demand you pay them an exorbitant amount of money, and if you don't, a bunch of them will swarm you and follow you everywhere until you pay. And if you take a picture with them they will demand a small fortune from you.

Mercado Bazurto Market does not look anything like this. Thank God our transportation driver did not just drop us off and leave us. I would have been terrified if I walked through this place.
