Thanks for the insightful video, Ran :) I actually wasn't familiar with Slater, which is a great discovery ^^ As someone who's still starting out as a freelance web designer (2 years and an half), I'm curious : what are the clear indicators that make you consider using an AI tool to improve your workflow? Also, do you ever worry that relying on these tools could potentially hinder one's own creative development?

Thank you for the Vid. I actually prefer Claude. Content wise it's much better. And I like their ethical approach

The single most annoying part about Relume is that no matter how good your prompt is you always end up with a very simple design/layout that feels very repetitive then you have to manually spend a ton of time getting the right “look” you thought it was gonna do for you

one of my core issues with Relume, and is one of the reasons i still use the free tier is because of the copy it produces. It is by far the worst aspect of Relume. The text it generates is really bad, so i hope they will do improvements there, because it is needed. It is the typical red flag style text that is instantly recognisble as written by AI.

Freepik has gone crazy recently (great) with their ai tools, I really like what they are doing with the platform. Have been using them way back for resources

Relume costs $40 bucks a month for unlimited wireframes projects and pages🤣I only pay Adobe $40 a month for all their tools, Relume is pricing themselves out the marketplace. And Freepik image generation is for amateurs it blows!

Amazing video Ran, I'd love to get the same video but for UX/Product design. I find Ai to be less helpful on that end of design.

Any suggestions on the best AI Image tools for vector style or actual vector based imagery? Midjourney really isn't that great with this and seems like a hole in the market at the moment.

So you are no longer a web designer but merely a prompt designer. Many tasks that I really enjoyed in web design are no longer necessary.

The character feature on Freepik is awesome. I have always wanted to do that but struggled with it as with stuff like Midjourney it's way too difficult and trial and error. I have found Visual Electric to be very helpful and a game changer for me in terms of making images for my website designs, especially concept ones.

Another Flux Academy creator made a video about it. It's especially great for making original versions of images you might find on the Internet that you don't want to copyright infringe or if they have annoying watermarks you can have Visual Electric just recreate a similar image for you.

A super generic wireframe doesn't really help anybody.. unless you want to make super generic websites in terms of structure and sections=

Regarding your thumbnails, does performing a smug facial expression while pointing to the side or above really generate more clicks than alternative images? You seem to have a lot of them.

Thanks!

I’m liking runway for video elements on a page. After a day (I know, not long) of trialling various tools, I ended up creating graphics in chatGPT (better, more consistent results than sora), using freepic for editing like background removal, extending the image etc, and runway for animating the image and removing the video background. But a lot of the day was spent banging my head on the desk because AI does not give consistent results
